I love my boyfriend VERY much, we've been together for a very long time. My life is about to change...his mother is giving him her house and he wants me to move in with him heart I'd like to think I'm ready for this change but i'm not sure if I'm ready.
We've broken up ONCE and it was for a year. He dated someone else and I dated guys but the most I EVER did was hold hands and he went "all the way" with this girl neutral
Here is the problem, I kind of MET someone else here on GAIA. We've never met but we text eachother ALL The time 24/7. He was in an accident and now can't talk. But we manage to make it work. I've noticed i'm starting to feel FEELINGS for him and i'm not sure if I should STOP talking to him or not. My boyfriend knows I text him and such and that he is JUST A FRIEND but I feel bad because I have feelings for the other. He is nice, sweet, and he says he LOVES me... I'm FALLING for him cry
I don't know what to do?! This other person doesn't even live in the same state as I do and my boyfriend is ready to take our realtionship to the next level.

Well I still talk to the gaian and I've fallen for him HARD, now that he knows that and how confused I am, he wants to stop talking.
Meaning he wants to cut-off all communication. I don't know why but it hurts. It hurts that I can possibly be losing a person I have strong feelings for cry He doesn't want to stop either but he says its the RIGHT thing to do for me. The gaian has decided to not cut off all communication. He says he can't bare the thought of losing me. Same goes for me, I just love our conversations heart and our connection.
His exact words:
"Jennifer, I can't bare not hearing from you. So I don't want us to stop talking. I never meant to hurt you. Please forgive me. I don't think I've cried for anyone... sorry."
Ha, yes we cried on the phone, it was sweet. Its really hard for him to talk. So he texts me while I talk to him. This is due to his motorcycle accident. He can't walk either but I still love him no matter what.
He has spoken to me easy things like:
"Hi"
"Jennifer"
"I Love You"
He says he only does it for me soo that make me feel special because he knows it makes me happy.
As for my boyfriend, I feel things have taken a big step BACKWARDS -_- He, wants to join either the Coast Guard, Marines, Army, Navy, or whatever else is left. It makes me VERY upset because I feel like he is leaving me again. He says he's unhappy with working at his job right now and wants more money and what-not. There is not excitment here and he's bored with his life. Of course, that upsets me because I am a part of his life and I obviously not making it exciting for him cry

are you sure you don't just have a crush on this guy from gaia? you'd regret it forever if you left your boyfriend for a guy you have a short infatuation with. you have to think carefully about this and how you really feel and who you'd rather be with.
if you lost your current bf, could you live? or what if you lost the gaia guy?

online relationships are dangerous, and most of the time they don't work, the reason why is because after a certain amount of time you need someone there and since they are so far away there is only so much they could do. take your time deciding if you want to live with your boyfriend because that's a big step. you have to make sure you love him. as for the other guy on gaia how long have you known him for? and if you do leave your boyfriend for him are you willing to wait. one thing about the internet is that some people seem like perfect people and those are the scary ones. good luck. and i hope you make the right choice.

Your probably right about him being a crush. I just love the nice things he says to me. I don't hear much nice things from my boyfriend, but if I did lose him I would be devasted. I do love him! Its just that my boyfriend doesn't say or do the little things that make me happy. The gaian says nice stuff to me and I think I'm getting confused about that.

I know online relationships are dangerous but I'm not a child. Heh, I sometimes wonder about the gaian. He seems TO GOOD TO BE TRUE! I've known the gaian for about six months. He just fascinates mee. As for my boyfriend, I told him I wanted to be married before I moved in with him.
His answer was "I don't know if I want to get married, I just want to be with you"
It broke my heart cry because I do want to marry him.

marriage is a committment, and that maybe what your bf is worried about when you mentioned marriage. I wouldn't worry too much about it, if he really loves you, he'll come around.
if what this gaian guy says confuses you, and if you like him JUST because he says nice things, i wouldn't rely on something like that. some guys are realy smooth about saying the right things at the right time. i honestly don't think you should really believe any of it. he may just be putting on a show to lure you in and not mean a word he says to you.

I think your right, he is a smooth talker. I acknowledge that I am getting confused by the gaians words, but it just feels good hearing something nice. I know i'm looking for affection in the wrong place but its just easier to receive it from the gaian than my own boyfriend.
I also don't want to ruin the friendship I have with the gaian but if I have to I will stop all communication with the gaian. cry

you don't have to sever all ties with him unless you don't think you can handle talking to him just as his friend. if you can't then just make sure to explain it to the gaia guy first, that way he understands why at least.

I'd leave it alone. Although internet relationships seem to be all the rage these days—darn those crazy kids! scream —they usually don't turn out too well, especially stemming from a site such as GaiaOnline. Now, I'm not knocking Gaia, I'm just saying that Gaia isn't particularly a specialized dating site.
When you sit down and think about it, it's a puppy love crush. You were in a time of need, he said a couple of nice things, had a cute avatar, and VOILA!! That's how it happens. If you want to hear something nice, then talk to a friend. Talk to a family member. Talk to other people that you trust.
In all honesty, you don't like him, you like the attention you get from him. Instead of bringing another guy into the picture—especially one from the internet—you've gotta fix thing with your "IRL" relationship.
Now I'm far from being an expert, but it sounds like you two have a thing or two to discuss, am I right?
"I don't know if I want to get married, I just want to be with you."
ARE YOU SERIOUS?! That's a red flag right there. He apparently wants to "be with you," but he just flat-out told you that he's not gonna make that commitment to you. He wants to shack up for whatever reason, and try to live, but then "WHOA!! Things are bad now!!"
And he splits...I think you deserve more than you think, Wicked Black Lady.

typical of a guy...well, if that's all you can get and you really love this guy, then i say go for it, but i'd keep in mind that if want the relationship to go anywhere, you might meet a little trouble.
