I haven't seen anything like this,so I guess no one post it before you did.And idea is great.
You know that the first thing I would change is Snape's death.But,then again,I tought of a thing that would probably save more lives.
I'd burn that 'dissapearing closet' from Room of Requirement long ago,since Montegiew got in it...I mean,Death Eaters came trought it and lot of people died in that battle,so i guess that would change a lot of things.

In JKR's original outline of the HP series she planned on killing Arthur Weasley with the snake attack, but when she decided not to she still wanted to kill off a parent (because for some reason Harry's parents weren't enough to make her point) so she had to make another character a father so she could kill him. She didn't originally intend to make Tonks and Remus to be a couple and she didn't intend for either of them to die. I wouldn't kill Arthur, but I WOULD make it so Tonks and Remus didn't become a couple or die. I believe that the fact that their relationship was so random (Nothing in OotP indicates attraction and in HBP bam they suddenly want each other? Right, that sooo makes sense.) and that their deaths were so obviously inserted (Honestly, Harry walked by and just saw their corpse laying there!) was sloppy wriing on JKR's part. It doesn't change anything about the series. So what if Remus isn't in the Resurrection Stone scene or that Teddy isn't born? That doesn't affect the overall plot/destiny of Voldemort, Harry, or any other important characters.

Also, I would have it be more apparent that Remus and Sirius were a couple. I know that it's heavily implied with the factors that they live together, give Harry a joint Christmas gift, aren't interested in girls like James is when they're teenagers (Remember Snape's memory?), and that nothing suggests attraction between Remus and Tonks until after Sirius' death. However, I still want a scene where Harry officially "finds out" about them, whether it's because he simply notices or that they tell him.

Plus, I'd have Neville fight Bellatrix. I realise the Molly said that epic line and all, but Neville had much more of a right to abhor Bellatrix. Sure, he killed Nagini, but he ought to have been given the opportunity to avenge his parents. Maybe Ginny could have killed the snake. Voldemort used his Basilisk's Chamber of Secrets on her, so it would be fitting for her to murder his other serpetine pet.

I would save Fred from dying.I would save Dobby but that would kind of screw things up a bit.I think Tonks was an unnecessary death, but I think it's somewhat better that way because she would've been miserable without Lupin.

For a not so large change, I wouldn't have killed Fred. I love the twins. And it just wasn't right killing Fred like that.
For a large change, I wouldn't have killed Severus Snape. Snape was my favorite character, and I didn't want him to die.

At first, I didn't think of it, but now that I have read all your comments, I would want Neville to kill Bella as well...
But what I really would want to change is that I would want Snape to get some "credit" for what he has done. I mean he was really brave and did so much for the Order but was still not trusted or liked by anybody...
and then he just died-.- I wish he had not died... but if he has to die well... it would have been great if he and Lily had become friends again after their argument... well I know this is all not possible but... Iwish it was...^^

Thanks Minerva ;D! I agree with the whole Neville thing. I was in huge shock when I realized Bellatrix wasn't killed by him. I think JK wanted to make it less "predictable."

Another thing I would've changed is get a little bit more of Ron shining time. It was always yay Hermione and Harry. Ron was always in a fight and not really shining like he should've. Neville should've had more shining moments too. They are two amazing characters.

Oh and here's something that will please most of you. I wanted more marauder screen time. Like, I wanted to see what they were like as teens besides Snapes thoughts (they were kinda biased hehe). Like James was the marauder most cut out. Of course he kinda died crying , but still hehe biggrin . Yup, those are my offical changes now that I've thought about it.

Suze, it would be difficult to include Marauder teen scenes in the books. JKR should just write a separate series about them. xd xd

I agree with the Professors bit, Other Star. I've always wondered which professors were married and had children and whatnot. When JKR makes a character encyclopedia we will have our answers.
