If you're a Christian, you've probably had a few questions about homosexuality. Most of the people around you have no problem with it, but for some reason (you just can't put your finger on it), you do have a problem.
You've probably heard, if not read it yourself, that the Bible says that homosexuality is a sin.
I'd like to tell you that you are correct. It is a sin.
1 Corinthians 6:9 (New International Version)
Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders
THAT DOES NOT MEAN HOMOSEXUALS ARE GOING TO HELL.
It says the 'wicked' will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Say, there is a homosexual Christian (this is not an oxymoron).
He is a 'gay guy,' but he has also recently accepted Christ into his life.
What happens to him?
Christ has paid the debts of sin to this guy, and since he is covered by Christ's blood, he is adopted as a child of God; therefore, he is not 'wicked.'
'Wicked,' I think applies to the unsaved.
You might still be a little confused.
See, homosexuality is indeed, a sin.
However, so is lying.
And stealing.
And cheating.
And murder.
And adultery... etc.
SO WE'RE ALL GOING TO HELL!?
NO!
See, Jesus paid for our sins.
If homosexuality is a sin, then Jesus paid for homosexuality. X]
I am not at all condoning it. I'm just encouraging you to not give these people the wrong idea about Christianity. We are sinners. Just like them. Just like little Sally from across the street.

SO IS IT A CHOICE? OR ARE YOU BORN GAY?
Well, it's really relative.
Kallie can wake up one day and say, "I hate men. I'm going to date chicks now!" <--(Just an example, people named Kallie and other homosexuals should not be offended by this.)
But then again, sometimes it's not.
A friend of a friend of mine, I'm told, has shown signs all his life.
'When he was little, he used to put on his mother's clothes and makeup. He had an effeminate voice. He tried to be straight growing up, but it was hard. Vaginas just repulsed him.' (Stereotypes & true example; homosexuals should not be offended)
Let's say Molly has always been a natural liar. She always lies, and her lies are always believable. People describe her as 'not having an honest bone in her body.'
Yes, she was born this way! She was born with the anti-gift of lying!
That doesn't mean she was born a liar. No.
It's still a choice. Because every day, before she tells her mother that she really DID see that rhino on Mulberry Street, she has to decide. It just means she struggles with that temptation more than others.
Just like how some of us struggle with porn. Does that mean you were born perverts?
People that struggle with drugs, were you born addicts?
Of course not.
Some final thoughts
Anyway, anyway. Before I digress (even more so), I'd like to conclude on the note that homosexuals are still people. God may not approve of their lifestyle, but he still loves them. Just how he doesn't approve of Molly's lying habit, but still loves her.
Have you ever heard of the saying, "Love the sinner, hate the sin?"
It's not just a catchy phrase, it should apply. No one has the right to judge, that's Christ's job.
And if he thought it was necessary to die for murderers, prostitutes, liars, and cheaters... then I think it's pretty darn well necessary for him to die for homosexuals, too. And he did.
