Since the guild has been so awfully quiet... i thought i spark a little something. i have been roaming around my LJ, and i've notice a few posts about this:
As the title says... it is a RUMOR. no need for wide spread panic.
As we all know, Gackt did that interview where he said that around 2010, he will be "retiring" (i quote the word because nothing is solid at all, and i don't know anything.) but as i read over the other people's posts, there is another theory out there... may be i'm slow and someone said something about it already... but uhh.... his "retirement" may be his "retirement" from his record company Nippon Crown, and start his own record label.
i say go for it to Gackt... i mean, Mana did it and is quite successful so far (i think)... plus he would have to follow less rules and break out with his own visions in what he wants. no?
opinions?

if thats what might happen, he'd probably end up being really successful with it 3nodding or he could just actully "retire" although I bet that would'nt last long >_> it'd be like Jay-z and his "retirement"

Nillava he could just actully "retire" although I bet that would'nt last long >_> it'd be like Jay-z and his "retirement" hahaha! i agree. Gackt is still too young to officially retire. i mean... not saying Yoshiki is very old or anything, but... didn't he go on a hiatus/"retirement" and now is back out and about with X Japan?

come guys... he's already released 2 singles, 1 unreleased song (only avalible on nine*nine, them song for that slot machine game he helped co-produce), a 2nd RR tour, a platinum box (released in 200 cool , a movie ("Bunraku" who knows when that will be released), lots of magazine covers has be graced by his face, and quite a few interviews have been done. the man is here to stay... 3nodding

I would cry my eyes out if he retired. I love Gackt too much and I'm far too selfish to see him to retire. Besides, he's still young and has more to offer his fans worldwide. But if he does, that's a choice we must all respect dispite our desire's for him to continue to sing.

that rumor came out when the new tour was coming up. it was really silent around him for long time, so he had to make a BIG thing so that his tickets will be sold as fast as you can see XD
it was only strategy....
gackt is a big one. when he someday will quit, he won't tell us. he will just stop one day and that's it. maybe with a BIG concert or tour...but after that, he will be done with making music and going on tour. but he won't say "HEY, I'm going to quit in 2010 or 2011..." or whenever....
he also said once, that he will go on as long as he can/his body can.
till then, let's just go on with everything like always ^^
