I was talking to a friend who plays Gaia and he said my avi was dull.
Everyone says my avatars are dull or boring because it's the same color combination each time. Either black and white, black and red, black and gold, or black and blue.
Has someone ever said your avi was dull, boring, or maybe even dumb?
My first avatar I was called a n00b, because it was just all items I've had from events plus a Monthly Collectible that was around 10k. Haha... looking back, most peoples' avatars were like that.

Actually, I never thought your avatars look dull, Shikaku. I actually think they usually look really neat, you may use the same colors a lot but it's usually unique how you put them together in the items.
I always use the same items just change some things so I'm surprised no one calls my avi dull or boring actually.

I think your avi looks interesting and expensive. It may not be colorful but it makes a statement and that statement is not dull!
When I first got to Gaia I had no idea I could have money so after about a month of daily visiting someone asked "why dont you ever change your avi?" I asked another person how and they told me I was rich and how to shop and the rest is history....Update: I'm broke! whee

I liek it- having all one colour scheme make sit look very sleek and well done. yours is teh best I've seen using new items.
mine are pretty boring, for one they never match because I inist on having the same tattooes,blue drgaon tail and gwee EVERY TIME XD
and I go with teh flow and always wear the new stuff that's out in the shops. they're cool, what can I say?

Nah, I don't think your avatars are dull.
I've had someone say "wow another werewolf". Due to the lost in translation effect on teh internets (and the lack of any punctuation or capitalization), I'm not sure if he was surprised or sarcastically surprised.

And my avatars are usually cheap... only one or two items on it would cost much. This one I have now, however, only costs about 35,000 gold. Pretty cheap, considering I made it in about a month without using any sort of Gaia Cash, or asking people to donate.

Maybe now a lot of newer users would think that b/c it's so easy to make tons of gold (buying with cash and selling) and a 'good avi' is maybe around 100K to some people. >_<'
