Hey guys, I just found out about this website called Twitter and I wanted to tell you about it.
Twitter allows you to send and read other users' updates a.k.a. tweets, which are messages 140 characters or less in length. Maybe you want to tell your friend(s) that you're hungry. Or, that you're busy studying and you can't go with them to the movies. You can use Twitter to tell them.
Once you register, your updates can be seen on your profile and they're also sent to everyone who "follows" you. Your friends/followers can receive updates by logging into Twitter or receive them via instant messaging, email, cell phone alerts, through Facebook, etc.
Twitter is useful if you want to contact a large number of people in a quick and effortless way. NASA used Twitter to keep in contact with its employees during the Mars rover exploration program. Fire departments in Southern California also used Twitter to alert people about the 2007 forest wildfires.
I thought it would be a good idea if some of us signed up for Twitter accounts. That way, we can stay in touch with other guild members. My username on Twitter is 0hHenry, if you'd like to add me wink The "O" is a zero. Clever, huh?

It's like the whole "status" thing is the greatest thing ever!
You got FaceBook with it, then MySpace, Xanga has one,
then this, and then there's this thing called Plurk. Maybe Gaia will even
have one! ;P [If not yet?]
I just think it's pretty funny.
