1 can of tomato sauce 2 potato (Peeled) Garlic powder Ground Cumin Water Cutting knife Some olive oil or any cooking oil you have Medium pan
*I didn't really make measurements, so it's a bit of a guess. sweatdrop
Okay!! You have your potato!! blaugh Peel it if you didn't already. Cut it into thin circular slices, but too thin because they're get too crispy when you fry them in your pan. I'd say half an inch sounds right.
Put enough oil to fry them in your medium size pan and carefully place them in it. I'd say cook them until they look down to you. The potato will start kinda look white in the middle.
Sprinkle enough garlic powder and ground cumin just to cover the top of your frying potatoes and stir them a little. Be careful not to put too much or else it will be overwhelming.
Pour in the can of tomato sauce and some water. About a cup I think. Stir it again until you have an even tone. Let it boil for at least ten minutes, you can boil it longer for softer potatoes or for a thicker sauce. It all depends on how much water you put in. Add more if you think necessary.
This is a family recipe meaning the more you try the more you can make it to your own taste. ^__^ ...^__^;; and I'm sorry for any burned pots.
*The recipe for mexican rice is basically the same except you have to bown the recipe. Substitute the potatoes for a cup of rice. Let it boil for twenty minutes then let it stand.
