So I'm moving back to the campus housing at school for my second year of college. I'm excited to be going back to see my friends and learn about the subjects I chose (and finally declaring my major), but moving is moving is moving. Moving sucks! My school is about 3,000 miles out of state, so I have to watch what I pack carefully to avoid icky, higher luggage fees and I'm shipping half my stuff. Has anyone ever dealt with that transparent shipping tape before? Ugh. I want to throw up right now, but I'm also hungry, so I'm slowly going insane. Packing a suitcase I can handle. Packing my life up for transport is another story.

I hate that clear package tape, just because it is such a hassle to get it to strip of the roll and cut it all together. I currently am packing up to move into my collage dorm for collage soon this fall. I won't move until school actually starts. But in the mean time I have to pack to get things stored because I cannot take everything. I've moved plenty of times to get used to the process though.

We shipped off the last of the boxes. I'll be in the air in two days.

I actually like the smell of that tape whee I move off to my first year of college in about 9 days. And i'm about half way packed. I'm lucky though my school is about a 2 hour drive iso i won't have to deal with all that shipping

I live close enough to my college to get there in a 15 min bus ride. It'd be stupid if I moved out of my house and cause extra housing expenses to my family. neutral

But my dad and step-mom wanted me to get the experience and make 'friends'

So moving out would mean paying an apartment outside the dorms, which would probably be expensive. I probably wouldn't be buying a car next week if I had to pay all that xd

Most people who lived as close as I didn't live in the dorms but my step mom insisted on it, and she likes to pretend she controls my dad, so he encouraged me to live there. It was ok, but to be honest, I really disliked living with that many females, I don't get along well with females.

Ya i get the whole wanting to get the experience which is why living there like your first year would make some sense. But to live there all 4 years i feel is just a waste of money.
