Sith students and Masters,
The Dark Council of Sith Lords is now reconvening after the sabbatical of Darth Pernicious (formerly know as Darth Sukious). Your Master requests your presence at the first Dark Council on Thursday, October 24 on Earth Year 2007. The meeting will be all day starting from 9 a.m. MTS (mountain standard time, USA) to October 24 Earth Year 2007 at 4:30 p.m. MST.

First Order of Business
I am going through the guild again and deleting old threads that not bios, not relevant at this time, or break the rules. I am almost finished, but I still have a few more to go, since some of the info needs to be transferred to stickies or announcements.
Thank you to the crew for cleaning up the membership list. Now, you (or I) can now go through threads of banned members and delete their bios.
I will also be adding a few more stickies and crew members that will be accepted in the council, may add their stickies as soon as I send them a PM for acceptance. Some stickies I will be putting up are a banner/picture sticky and an Absence sticky with dates so that we can keep track of people and plan accordingly.
Any other suggestions for stickies and announcements in the guild are welcome.
Council Members Wanted
Right now I am looking for more council members. There are two criteria. You must first be a Knight currently working on becoming a Master and second you must post a lot in the guild. Your main job will be moderating, however, there are some guild issues that only the Dark Council of 13 can decide on. If you are interested in applying please PM me.

New Rules
With the new system of dice rolling/ random numbers, we have the oppurtunity to make a fresh start and reconstruct the game playing rules.
I would suggest that we pick a universal die system and then add our points that we have gained to the total.
Also any suggestions to make the game easier are welcome. Please speak up. This is your guild, too! mrgreen

Upcoming Parties and Events
There will be several upcoming parties and events in the next three months. I would like suggestions and ideas on how to handle these.
Some parties and events coming up:
Gaia Halloween Ball for 2007
Sith Ceremony for Younglings and Knights
Winter Holiday Party (for Christmas, Winter Solstice, Chunnakah, Kwanzaa, etc.)
Thanksgiving (U.S. This is debatable though)
If you have any events that you wish to sponsor yourself, you may do so. If you need help with advertising and such, just let me know and I will try to help you.
Also, donations for any of these parties or donations for next years Birthday Bash are welcome. I will assume that all donations from guild members are for our guild only, unless otherwise stated. You may send the donations to me or my mule, Rad Rex.

General Announcements
First of all I would like to thank the currently active members for being great people and participating. I would like to see more participation from non-active members.
I encourage all of you to start your own RPing threads. Please feel free to make your own rules that conform with Gaia TOS and the Guild.
Any suggestions or comments for the guild are more than welcome and post them in the Darth Sukious' Petition thread. You may also feel free to PM me with suggestion, comments or questions.
Also, let's start getting the word out there. I think I will start an incentive based system for members that suggest and recruit people. Let me know what kind of incentive you would like.

I say we use the "D20 system" to calculate statistics, abilities, ECT. it's actually not a hard system to get used to, it's just what some call the D&D system. however, we'd have to tweak the abilities towards the system we're using instead of the system used in D&D, along with other D20 games.
(yes, I can explain the D20 system to those who haven't used it.)

(sorry to revive effetively dead threads and all but....) would the D20 system your talking about be more along the lines to the unrevised, or the revised Star wars RPG rules? I have the main books for both (even though the unrevised is falling apart) and could possibly throw in some help in converting certain things....but, just wondering mostly.
