He almost lost himself, her mane was soft and comforting inviting him to snuggle in close. The echoing sound soon started to change, he could only assume that's because they were nearing either a wall or an opening. He hoping it was an opening

She let out a shrill cry as she broke through a waterfall into a cavern of beauty like non he's ever seen.

He began to wonder if maybe he heard the rumbling of water echoing but by the time he did it was too late. The chill water hit him causing him to jump and squeal like a little girl, a very manly little girl, but it was cut short as he was entranced at the place he was now in* Wow...

She set down gently on a bed of moss at the edge of the pool that was fed by the waterfall.

As she finally came to a stop he carefully made his way off of her and to the ground, the moss helped cushion him.* Wow, I guess that is what I end up missing since I have no dragon in me, eh? *He smiled as he looked around the cavern, once again using the SoK as a cane

She watched him, if she could smile, she would have. She saw the beauty in his eyes and it made her heart feel light.

He wandered around the cavern, inspecting everything. It was all new to him and he didn't want to miss a detail* Who knew something like this existed?

I did...we all do....just the pure hearts can find the way.

Then obviously I'm not in that category now, am I? *His voice bounced off the cavern walls a little. He limped back to her* Thank you for showing me this place beloved...I technically shouldn't even be here....

Your not a dragon, you couldn't have known...but you are here as my guest...

Still...thank you for bringing me *He smiled and kissed her on the end of her nose* I love you

Her tail curled around him.

I love you too, and I wanted to share it with you.

He pet her tail, making sure to follow the scales. He could stay here for eternity with her if they had to.* How'd you get so stunning?

She nuzzled his chest closing her eyes. Yes, say more things like that.

He hugged her great snout* Say more things like what? I'm just asking because I want to know what made me lucky enough to beable to be with you for the rest of our lives.
