I don't know how many people think this, but I mean, why does everybody not really like Hades? (This may not be true with some people. Namely a certain Akherontis...) What I mean is that in mythology, they all think that going to the Underworld is...bad would be too strong a word...not that swell. Sure, Thanatos (Death) may be involved, but death can be a good thing! Well...that was kind of besides the point.
For example: in the myth where Hades falls in love with Persephone, Demeter was pissed off at the fact Hades captured her daughter. Sure if my daughter were captured (not that I have one) I'd be angry all the same. But Hades was in love with her! And Demeter commanded that Hades only be with Persephone for half a year! How would you feel if you couldn't be with someone you love for half a year? Just because Hades is dark-ish doesn't mean he can't be trusted!!! So where's the love for Hades?
And on a seemingly random note, you know how seasons are flipped in the different hemispheres? (If it's Winter in the Northern Hemisphere, it's Summer in the Southern Hemisphere.) Which hemisphere does Hades' time with Persephone go with? (Probably Northern Hemisphere since Greece is there...but I'm just wondering.)
