Here is where we post any ideas we have for the story line. Characters will be in another thread, so please don't post any here.
Also, the FanFic will be all canon. There may be a few stretches of the truth, but that's it.

You know, I've realized that if what happened in the Avatarverse happened in real life, it would be a lot more complicated in the aftermath. I mean, the Fire Nation citizens have been raised to believe that they are the superior race and should "spread their greatness," i.e. rule the world. I think there would be quite a violent backlash from them after Ozai was defeated. Just a thought.

another idea is that the next avatar has to find a way to stop sozin's comet from totally pwning the earth....

cause wouldn't it get closer and closer to earth and eventually crash into it?

Well, let's see...the ideas that have been thrown around so far are backlash from Fire Nation citizens, creating a new Avatar, and stopping the comet from pwning the earth. Now we could possibly have a combination of at least two of those. Like, "create an Avatar before comet pwns" or "OMG we need an Avatar to stop this rioting liek now" or something of the like.

Yup. But in that case we'd need a way to remedy both problems, whereas creating the Avatar is the remedy in the other versions.
