So, my name is Alice. I'm very much into fashion, or rather, helping people look better. So if you want to change the way you look, then I'm here to help you achieve that goal. smile

On this thread, I'll try to post a guide to a different style every few weeks. Each guide will probably include DIY stuff, makeup ideas, and of course clothing guidelines for said style.

Sound good so far?
I thought so.

You can send me PMs and let me know which style you'd like me to cover next as well.

There may also be times when I don't cover an IRL style, and talk about what you can do with your avi. It all depends on what you Gaians want! (SEND PMS)

For those of you who think that fashion is only skin deep, you're right and you're wrong. You're right if you think that how you look on the outside is not necessarily how you are on the inside.

However. There are a lot of very shallow people in the world whose main goal is to make your life miserable because of how you look. I'm here to try to help you give them less to make fun of you for.

If you're sitting here saying, "But Alice, I don't MIND being different!" then that's OK too! As long as you're comfortable with yourself, and you like the way you look (and the way you look doesn't get you in trouble, school-wise or legal-wise) then GREAT! I can help you perfect a look as well.

So, rally up guys! Let's talk FASHION!

OMGstyle #1

For the first OMGstyle guide, I had no idea what to do. Then my air conditioning unit broke, and it hit me: SUMMER IS HERE; TALK ABOUT SWIMSUITS STUPID!!!

So swimsuits it is.

While technically not a style in itself, there's virtually no way to get around swimsuits in the summer. If you're terrified to get out on the beach because of your less-than-perfect bod, I'm here to help! Unknown to a large portion of people, there are many different styles of swimsuits, and lots of options among them. I'm going to cover several of the most common body concerns and the most flattering swimsuits for them.

CONCERN NUMBER 1: No chest.
No chest? No problem! I would suggest something solid colored, with detailing on the top (beading is your FRIEND). This will make your smallish chest seem larger than life! A halter-top cut will also be the most flattering for your torso. Avoid anything cut straight across your chest like the PLAGUE!!!

CONCERN NUMBER 2: A lot of junk in the trunk
A skirted bottom is the way to go for you, missy. Dark colors are best; black is ideal. We want to keep it really minimal here. Board shorts are also a great option if you aren't a big fan of skirts.

CONCERN NUMBER 3: Too much tummy
Tankini, tankini, tankini. The perfect blend of swimsuit and tank top, this baby has you covered. If you're concerned about your back as well as your front, they come in closed-back varieties.

If I've left your major worry out, let me know! I'll add it in for you.
