I really like his voice- I must say, it's quite original. Would you call it raw-sounding? I dunno how to put it, but you've all heard his voice. (Obviously.)
A couple years ago, when I went to my first Skillet concert, I remember he was wearing a glow in the dark skeleton sweatshirt thing onstage. My friend and I were sitting in the very highest rows in the stadium, and no one else was sitting up there because no one was allowed to (we were just being rebellious). After Skillet was done, John Cooper came and sat up in the seat a row down and diagonal to ours.
We recognized him, but we were both too shy to go up to him and say something! crying We could have sat with him- and I had a notebook and pen (I'm a poet/writer, I carry those everywhere) so I could have gotten his autograph.

I got my tickets for the concert I went to last night a bit late, so I didn't get a good seat. But, I saw him kinda clearly when he came up the walkways, which was cool, but I never got a good glimpse. I wish I had though... Seeing him in person clearly would have rocked!

Note to self: never go to a concert dad again. mrgreen I'm surprised he actually liked it! (He's not a fan of loud music.) but of course he drug me and my friends home right after the concert because it was "late" so i never got to meet john or get an autograph evil i had to give my ticked to someone else so she could have it signed for me. neutral

He's hilarious live....I remember when one of his kids were born, he said things like "None of you were this cute when you were babies" and "none of your babies will be as cute as mine!"
And back when he got Married to Korey...."This is my wife...isn't she hot!? (a bunch of guys yell affirmatively)...good, now I know who to POUND after the show!!!"
And when he said "People think God wouldn't like Hard Rock....I happen to know that God loves all music....except Country!!!"
