Guilt-ridden over her role in Callisto's death, Xena finds herself a prisoner of her own nightmares. What she doesn't realize is that Callisto has traded bodies with her -- without her permission.

A frustrated Xena remains trapped inside Callisto's body. But the only way out is to help a now-mortal Ares regain his former glory as the god of war.

In the first half of a two-part episode, Xena battles Sitacles and suffers debilitating injuries. As she drifts ever closer to death, she remembers the events that shaped her into a warrior princess.

The Quest
The conclusion of a two-part episode finds Xena fighting to regain her life after losing it following a pivotal battle with Sitacles. Meanwhile, in the land of the living, a grieving Gabrielle has become queen of the Amazons.

A Necessary Evil
The only way for a desperate Xena to stop a ruthless Amazon turned god from killing Gabrielle is to strike a deal with the now-immortal Callisto. But is it worth the price she must pay?

Day in the Life
It's a nail-biting race against time as Xena and Gabrielle work to protect two different villages in the same 24-hour period. Unfortunately, one of their adversaries is larger than life.

Blind Faith
An ambitious warrior sets out to kill Xena but succeeds only in blinding her. Of course, losing her sight isn't enough to keep Xena from trying to rescue a kidnapped Gabrielle.

The Price
When Xena pulls out all the stops to defeat the menacing Horde, a dispirited Gabrielle fears her friend has reverted to ruthlessness.

The Lost Mariner
In the wake of a violent shipwreck, Gabrielle finds herself separated from Xena and made prisoner aboard a vessel run by cursed pirates.
