Alright, most of the RPs I've run have incorporated some sort of Battle System. This has ranged from a simple 1-100 roll where 50+ is success, to a system where players' rolls compete with eachother and are modified by character-specific stats.
In the meantime, numerous RPs have survived without any such system.
So, the question remains: Should we use them in our Roleplays?

I personally can't get my head around them so I'm a bit biased...heh...I've attempted to use them in the past and failed miserably stressed
