y'all remember that great grandmother i had with alzheimers?
well, she passed away tonight at 9.30pm... just so you know if i disappear for a while, that's why.
all of you do me a favor. go right now and hug+kiss your grandma. and if she's not near, call her, and tell her you love her. she won't be around forever.
if there really is a heaven, i'm sure gran's up there smiling down on me. may god give her the peace she's so rightfully earned.

I'll be thinking about you...I'm so sorry to hear your sad news...
My Grandma has Alzheimers too, and doesn't really remember me, but I'm going to go visit this week just the same...

my condolences for your loss. i'd go and visit my grandmother, but she passed away nearly two years ago. i definately know how hard it is to lose someone you care about, even if they're older.

There is a special, unique bond between grandparents and grandchildren; it's so totally different to parents and children.

Sorry to hear this. My grandmother died on my wedding anniversary this year She'd been on the decline for a long time. The one we worry for now is grandpa because he is pretty lost without her even though he plays it off because he's a business man.

I'm really sad to add that my Grandma joined yours in heaven yesterday. My Mum, Aunt and I went to see her as soon as we heard she was ill (she lives 2 and a half hours away) but we were half an hour too late. It happened really quickly. She has had alzheimers a long time, but she had a cardiac arrest and a pulmonary adaema on top. I feel very sad.
