@ peachie69142
Thanks! I've never been called love before. I got the info on imdb.com.
@ hoshinoame
I know! It's going to be awesome! The only thing I worry about is Gackt's English.
@ blackdragon919
I hope it's good. It would suck if no wanted to see it because the trailer didn't do it any justice. I really hope the film succeeds!

Bunraku will be a Western? As in, cowboys? Or do you mean Western as in American, 'cause I know that ^_^ I hate westerns gonk But that is a tourture I am willing to bear since Gackt-sama will be in it. And I think he'll probably be speaking Japanese in it. The man can do no wrong. In fact, I honestly believe he is God's gift to women heart

i heard it is going to be a "Sin City Movie" type deal. i just know that part of the movie was shot in Japan, and the other part is currently being shot in Romania. that's the only solid info i have. anywhoo... i think this thing is going to be like an almost off a comic thing. i'm beginning to feel that it almost Samurai Shamploo-ish. not quite sure. anyways... i think it is going to be a half-and-half thing. like there is going to be two different stories, and some how comes together as one. but uh... my guess is as good as anyone else's guess for now. i saw the poster for the movie somewhere on the net... if i do find it again, i post it in the Gallery/Picture thread. (^-^)
@Tsuki: hahaha... that's what i call people that when they gives out info that's totally new to me, new in general, helps out updating things and what have you. te-he. well, i hope that doesn't creep you out or anything... i won't use it to ya if you feel creepied out or something, just say the word. (^-^)

Samurai Champloo-ish? If it's anything like that, I'll be pleased; I enjoyed that Anime. I'm sure I'll like it, especially since Gackt's in it! If the story isn't up to par or whatever(to Gackt), than I'll be happy with any part with Gackt in it. I can't wait for 2009! :3

Well I could be mis-informed about the movie being a western. I read the description and that's what I got from it.
@ Peachie That's the fun of the movie, I suppose, you don't know exactly what it's like until you've seen it. And call me whatever you want, I don't mind.
@ M u s e I don't know exactly how the movie will play out. I got the feeling it was a western from the words "Bartender" and "Hopeless Horseman Saloon" in the description here.

But it won't be out in theater's or anything will it? D: I'd probably have to buy it on DVD?? I don't know, but I'm going to definitely try to watch it. Thanks so much for posting this! don't quote me on how the movie will turn out. but from the pictures and interviews i've been seeing around the net... Josh is dressed in western style clothing... i think. as for Gackt... he is dressed in a rurouni samurai kinda deal. i saw bright colors on a set... i'm only gluing two and two together. hahahaha.
@ Tsuki: kehe... well san-q love for the info again. (^-^)
@ Byo: if not, i'm sure it will be available online somewhere... though i try not to see it that way. but seeing that Josh Harnett will be in it... it will debut in the US. if not as a super major hyped-to-godly movie like Iron Man, it will be one of those bit more hush hush movies. but josh Harnett... he's one of the A-list Hollywood actors, so I will see it as a half-and-half movie hype. don't worry. wink

The movie will be in theaters. Gackt speaks English a lot better than he has in the past due to him taking lessons.
This is a bit from an MTV interview with Josh Harnette about the film. The flick will mix CGI and practical sets to create the world of "Bunraku," a style of Japanese storytelling that uses 4-foot-tall puppets with highly detailed heads, each operated by several puppeteers who blend into the background wearing black robes and hoods.
"Some of the scenes are gonna be more Michel Gondry-like I guess," he said, citing some degree of influence by the "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" visionary. "But a lot of them will be green screen as well."
"[The script] has a lot of fight sequences in it, but it's more about these crazy characters," Hartnett explained. "Like my character, he's a gypsy and he's coming into town and he's got something to prove — and no one really knows what he's about."
During his attempts to describe the defiantly indescribable look of "Bunraku," Hartnett kept hearkening back to that groundbreaking Frank Miller film he lent himself to several years ago. "It's not fantasy. Well, I mean, it's fantasy in that it's not reality, but it's not 'Narnia,' " he said. "It's a film that, I don't know how to stick it into a genre, but I would say it's more a film like 'Sin City' than anything else."

yeah... i saw that clip of josh being interviewed by MTV on youtube. he only talked about himself in that interview... very little about the movie itself or the other cast of characters.
but for now... i'm just stoked about it. i can't wait for it to appear on screen. (^-^)
