No, I'm not talking about the live action movie dub. Some one is completely REMAKING the movie but with American actors!

Thats just horribble. I'd watch it....but I wouldnt like it.
Jappenesse version is just fine. Why does America have to re do it?
I know it wont be as good....at all. The jappenesse version had some great actors. Altho I didnt like how they make Light afraid of Ryuk at first ^^;

Eh, it might end up being really good, though it depends on how they advertise it. American audiences pretty much go on what's in the commericals.

Why would they do that? That would just be silly.

I think they'll get a fairly well-known actor for Light. What about Thomas Dekker? He seems like he could play a crazy-sociopath-genius-role model pretty good. As for L, someone unknown would be better.
