Seriously now. Guys? Wtf.

I didn't work yesterday. I don't have to go in today until 1pm.
I have too much time on my hands.

Better to be busy than bored?
Or should I pick my a** up and start doing my own thing?

I've been thinking about painting.
But I don't know how to oil paint.
And that's what I really want to do.
Do I have to prime canvases?
I'm too shy to ask this one guy.
But I really want to ask him. Ugh.

Should I just stick with gouache and charcoal/pastels and watercolors?
Should I do some collages?

hmm.
Should I skip all that and just start making patterns and sewing them up?
I was always a draper, you see, but you need a body to drape on. And I don't have a body. But with patterns you just need a big table. I have a big table.
Why am I being so lame?

I need a really cool name.

If you had to start a clothing line, what would you call it?
A beloved pet?
Your mother's name?
Your grandmother's name?
Favorite flower?
Your significant other's name?
Street you lived on growing up?

Guess that would be one drawback to freelance work.

Trade you neutral We just had two people walk out, so I'm getting all kinds of overtime gonk (glad I just got a raise... )

You can always buy a book on oil painting if you're too shy to ask a real person. Learning something new is the best way to kill boredom.

If you had to start a clothing line, what would you call it? Chop Suey, which is probably what it would end up looking like since I don't know how to sew.
A beloved pet? Oz, Puppet, Gir, Momo, and PD (my fuzzy kids X3 )
Your mother's name? Jill
Your grandmother's name? Pat and Betty
Favorite flower? Plumeria
Your significant other's name? In relationship limbo right now.
Street you lived on growing up? Cherry Creek Rd.

Karma- I really, really want to ask him, but considering that last night I had a sexual dream about him (ahem) and I have a boyfriend. It might not be a good idea. But I'll probably ask him anyway. Maybe it'll turn me off. God I hope so.

I'll trade. What do you do anyway?

Eriwain- OoO. Photos. What kind do you take? Can I see something? Do you got a website? And what do you mean by gadget sleeves? Sleeves that do cool things or sleeves that hold gadgets? hehe.

It's kinda fun seeing your answers. Maybe I should do my own...

I hate when that happens xd Then it makes talking to them all uncomfortable and they have no idea why you're acting weird around them. What's the worst that could happen if you do talk to him?

I'm a Vet Tech./stand-in office manager. When can you start? XD

Nothing can happen. I'm just kinda shy. Well I really overthink things sometimes.

How about week after next Tuesday??

PS. Good for you for working a job that relates to your degree.
Good on you there!!!

Dude.
I will never complain about not working again.
hehe.
Three 9 hour days in a row will tire a b***h out.
And there's still tomorrow.

I'm really leaning towards lindseytron.
PostPosted: Fri Jun 13, 2008 6:57 am

xd
Be careful what you wish for. Next you'll be saying "damn, I need a day off gonk "
9 hour days are pretty tough. I tried 4 day/10-hour-shift work weeks for a month and it really wears you out. I have no idea how my brother and his fiance' do 3/12's.

I'm glad I got a job relevant to my degree too :3 I know too many people who got a degree and did nothing with it. gonk

"lindseytron"?

Sounds like your work schedule has taken a 360 turn. I just got 2 hours of overtime today and no break thanks to my flaky co-workers. I just keep telling myself the paycheck on Monday is going to make it all worth it -_-:

Lol.
It'd be nice if money could really fill that void in your heart.
jk jk.

I didn't work today. I work tomorrow now.

Who says money can't buy happiness? XP
It's the void in my personal life I'm more concerned with gonk It's an issue when you have money and no time to spend it.... I can't wait for my vacation -_-:

At least you're getting hours now :3

I love having money and not being able to spend it.
I love going shopping, not buying anything, and just thinking about it for months.
Because when you do finally get it, it's amazing. It makes me tingly all inside. Lol.

For example, I saw this necklace in this shop in Brooklyn 6 months ago. It was the cutest pair of little silver scissors on a short chain. Well I went back like 3 months later on a monday. First I couldn't remember the name of the road. I just knew I would recognize the street if I saw it. So we wandered around the train station for like an hour and a half... and I find the road, when we're about to give up. So we're walking down. I don't remember the store name. I start to doubt. Then out of the fog is the store crystal clear and beckoning. Walk up to the door. ******** closed.
Can you believe that.
So my bf went and bought it for me for our three year anniversary last week.

Oh there was another time I was in the neighborhood, but the people I was with were being lame and didn't want to walk over there because it was hot. I totally should've just gone. But it was sweet that he got it for me.

D: That drives me nuts. Then again I'm an impulsive buyer sweatdrop I guess it's kind of a good thing I don't have a lot of free time or I'd always be broke.

Aww.. that was sweet of him X3 At least you know he listens to you on occasion.
