Rose Sitting in the snow, the wind blew her hair The vampire sat as she just stared A lone rose sat beside her resting place Its purple petals falling with infinite grace She picked up the rose and found that it stood In not water but blood, and then she understood The rose was her, forever living off others To eventually be loved and live through another's Heart, soul and mind, but she knew that for now She would simply drink the blood of others as her chow. The moon sat high in the sky as she drew The graveyard sitting there, for her she knew Her home was a graveyard, blood her food And she knew that in her heart, she could never be good. She signed her name at the bottom of the art And left it for the one who had taken her heart.

Alone A girl sat on the steps, crying and singing. Her heart was pouring out into her words. Her brother had left her here alone The house that had shown her new worlds. He had died when he entered, why she did not know She decided to step in and follow him through She was just fine so she ventured on She could die at any moment, this she knew But she continued anyway, waiting to go All she had left of him was his locket and memories She pictured him in her young mind as she knew him last Her one anchor to life now was her memories. She tried to hold on to her dear young life She had no motivation until she heard a voice Stay my young sister, you are needed, her brother said As he flew down and said, My death was my choice Stay! she shouted, holding on to him for dear life I cannot, he said, but you can, stay for me, he spoke Then he disappeared as she fell to the ground Crying as she held onto the locket and hair she took. She remembered her brother always there She remembered why she had to care And as her heart grew cold and jaded, Her mind and soul slowly faded.
Ten years later she returned to the place Her heart was stolen and her soul erased Now only knowing pain she cried and cried For her only brother, the one who died A young boy and her older sisted came And asked her if she was ok, if she was still sane She screamed out, brother, why? And ran into the house, hoping to die. The older sister ran after the teen Then disappearing with a quick sheen She looked back and watched as tears streamed down her face The tale, retold, of one who could never be replaced. She went out and embraced the young boy Comforting him for the shock of this coy They walked together to the house and hand in hand Were the older siblings, ready to stand. Don't cry young ones, you're needed they said The boy's soul faded as they left.
Now the young sibling live together in the house Crying everyday for the ones who left them. But they always remember why they're needed And fight for the day they can join the elders.

Insanity I walk to the bus on the sidewalk Wait for it to come as I see a piece of chalk I draw a young girl with a happy family I wish that's how my life was currently I get on the bus as I think about life My mother is dead, my dad has a new wife I refuse to call her mom, she could never replace her I just wish that someday I could have my life's anchor. The bus has stopped, I've arrived at school I get off the bus and right past the cool Whispers and giggles erupt as I walk They're talking about me and I know it but don't talk You see, I have chosen to be mute ever since My mother killed my father; they think it was an accident He made it look like an overdose but really I watched him do it all as my stomach was reeling. No one knows this, just you and I and my unstable mind. I walk in the class and sit in my seat. I listen to the teacher and look at my feet As soon as class is over I walk out the door I venture through my school to its very core Hello there Anna, my counselor says How are you doing? he asks- I nod yes Mute as ever I see, he continues. Just do a couple of tests, he slowly cues. I write and I circle, the tests are now done He checks them over and says, hun We think you're insane, he says- that can't be true! What have you done to pick up the clue? He picks me up as I scream from years of pain I faint in his arms to unfortunately wake up again.

Freedom The sun came up, illuminating the sky The world woke up as a bird started to fly The girl from the island woke up in her new house She walked downstairs as she saw a mouse She picked it up and opened the door Then let it free as her spirits started to soar Finally her freedom has been found Away from the world that left her bound.

Worthless She sits on the swing, her brown hair blown astray Her mind is wandering to earlier that day She fell to the ground as memories flooded She cried as she remembered the pain of unwanted You're of no use to me, he said to her face Goodbye and good riddance, he said before the chase She ran after him, screaming why am I worthless? He shouted to her, it's because your now mirthless She stopped and she fell as she remembered Who exactly had made her dismembered.
She sits on the swing, her green eyes meek As she strayed to earlier that week Her father hit her over the head She fell to the ground as she now bled Why can't you just be a good girl? he shouted. Tell me what's wrong and I'll fix it she blasted. You're worthless to society, you aren't an A student You aren't a great athlete, your social skills are absent You can't work with others, stuck in your world You are just too bad- her vision suddenly swirled She curled up in a ball as her consciousness faded Her mind wasn't ever the same, she had become too jaded.
As she sat on the swing, pale skin gleaming She made a decision that stopped her from sinking I'll do my best, I'll be that girl The one they all want to be And when they ask where I get my whirl I'll say my own soul, and they shall agree. I am worthless no more because I love me I will become the best and make them see. The perfect student, the liveliest woman The best all-around athlete, the girl in action Starting today, I'm not just some girl, I am Hannah Rose, and not just a schoolgirl.

Regret
Victor sits at his desk, studying, experimenting. In the darkness, he is the only one here in the lab, sitting, cursing. Consciously, he knows he should leave. Today he will stay. He can't bear to grieve. Over and over he thinks of the death. Right or wrong, he couldn't prevent his last breath.
Crying and cursing, he can't let him be in vain. And so, for weeks on end, he has stayed in his domain. Never giving up, never let others die, Today he will stay. Today he won't lie.
Going and going, his strength starts to fade, Ever so tired, he will not stop today. The day isn't over, he thinks, as the sun finally sets.
On the next day he still sits, his team entering the room, Victor still sitting, working, and then they presume Every night since then, he has remained, Right or wrong, his heart has pained.
In the light of the room, silence is broken They beg him to leave, but his fate is certain.

Someday
I lay on the ground, blood coming from a cut.
Was bullied again for my intelligence and kicked in the gut. Instead of helping me, the teachers walk away. Languishing, I hope for my consciousness to stay. Long ago, I was treated as their own.
Gone is that time, and now I'm alone. Anyway, you should know more about me. I'm Luc, short for Lucas, and I'm not at all freaky. Never mind what the others say, I want to fit in.
Red fire is my spirit, and white pearl is my grin. Even when they hit me, my smile stays firm. So is my way to hide, my lack of pain can confirm Perfect is my mask of happiness, not pain Even when I hurt, I know one day I'll gain Confidence to speak, and power and fame Today may not be it, but soon they'll feel shame.

Nightmares
Screaming, he falls to the floor, clutching his head, crying. Over and over, he sees all the ones that he couldn't save, dying. Memories flood his head, crashing, slowly rendering him insane. Even though he tries to tell, he can't find the strength to render these dreams inane. Bleeding from the soul, he wakes up crying, running to the bathroom, and marks his skin. Only by the third cut does he realize what he's doing, but he cuts further in. Day after day, this repeats, his body thinning, his soul dying, and his mind crying. You could have saved them, he tells himself, cutting to punish, and screaming.
Soon he feels that he has finished, and throws his shirt on to go to work. And unlike any other day, someone notices, and gives his shirt a jerk. Victor, why is there blood on your shirt? He asks. Even though it seems so, this isn't my blood, but theirs, he says, under his masks.
Victory is his, but Victor punishes himself again as he hears them screaming. Instead of going to the lab, however, someone pulls him to the psych ward for a screening. Confidence is not Victor's as they scream, and beg, and cry. Today and tomorrow, he only wishes he could die. Over and over, he sees the ones he couldn't save, dying. Reeling and screaming, he runs off, crying.

Torn
Derek feels the scrape through his chest, the burning in his heart. Even though he holds hope, he knew he would die from the start. Red and black flashes before his eyes and he quickly grows weak. Everything he has done, and he has one regret to speak Kyriaki and Paraskevi are the ones kill him tonight.
In the hospital, he wakes up, despite Some expectations from others, coworkers and not.
Derek woke up to stitches drawn taught. You alright? You worried us there, Angie says. I know, and I'm sorry, he replies. Never expecting this, Angie cries. Gotta get back to sleep, he says.

Memories
In Caduceus, everyone was cheering. Today, GUILT was eradicated, so all were gleaming.
In the beginning, a young surgeon commanded respect when he arrived. Sidney welcomed him as he fought and survived.
One operation changed them all. Victor struggled to prevent his fall. Everyone tried, but they could not prevent Richardson's untimely death. They all lament.
Even in sorrow, they fought the GUILT. Very successfully destroying and forcing it to wilt. Every miracle was performed by Stiles Right until GUILT caught Derek in its wiles. Young Kimishima then tried out her power Once destroying the two that brushed their anchor. Now as they celebrate, smile, and cheer Everyone remembers their initial fear.

Masks
He sits by her bedside, twisted with grief. Every morning there is no relief.
Is she gonna be ok? Her parents ask Sadly we don't know, they say, but we're up to the task
Sitting by her beside the surgeon wonders if this Child can be cured by death or bliss Amy Chase tries to act oblivious but she too knows Right now, at any moment, she could die; she's close Every morning there is no relief before Derek comes and gives them his cure.

Tomorrow The first day she went into Tartarus she thought she wouldn't live to see tomorrow. Fuuka Yamagishi, fueled only by sheer determination, searched and searched. Finally, Minato fount her, and led her and his friends downstairs. Together they fought the Emperor and Empress. This is where their story began.
A punk, a senior, rejoined the group. He fought with skill, and valor, and trust. But yet after and before he clutched at the air, the ground, somewhere, for support. Shinjiro Aragaki was slowly dying on the inside.
Fuuka held the dying teen as she rushed for the hospital. A terminal illness is what the doctors claimed. But he knew, but she knew, that it was more than that. Betrayal. His own psyche, his persona was betraying him.
Castor ripped into his lungs, into his heart. He coughed as he held onto his pillar, Fuuka. After, they walked out as if nothing happened. They went to the shrine and prayed for Castor to stop.
Shinjiro, thrashing, crying, was lost. Blood, flesh, death, revenge he was lost. But then his pillar came through it all. Hope, hope for a better time.
He asked if they could hang out for a day. He knew it was his last, but he didn't tell. She complied as they went to stores, restaurants, and karaoke. Then he said goodbye and left for the station.
As the bullet went through, he didn't shed a tear. “Aki, take care of him...” he said, and her too, he thought. And as she cried, as he fell to the ground, he said: “This is how it should be...” Goodbye, everyone.
A young man, Shinjiro Aragaki, age 17. Died of “gang violence,” a shot to the heart. And as his green-eyed pillar cried for him, He knew that night that for him, there was no tomorrow.

Angels
She looked at him, and ever so shy, hid behind tears when he approached. Her heart still burned from her last encounter with the other gender. Her heart still shattered as easily as it did before. She still wished to hide, to hide behind amber.
He could tell the look in her eyes, the fear in her heart. He wondered why she was so scared. But when he tried to help, and delved right in, a signal in his head, eager, flared.
As they talked and talked, she became less shy, She became stronger, and she looked him in the eye. He helped her through her troubled past, And made a relationship that would forever last.
From shy timid girl to strong-willed woman, From a male enigma to a kind-hearted boy, Fate looked upon them, and quietly chuckled, As she saw the outcome of her toy.
But the strong-willed woman, Chihiro, learned That not all stories end well. For her enigmatic love, Minato, was almost dead, And the woman disappeared for the shy belle.
