Well, for me, the phantom appealed to me, especially after seeing the production in Toronto. My other friends have things for guys in manga or cheesy romance novels. :3

I got a couple.
Iggy from the Maximum Ride series. I absolutely adore him despite his sometimes perverted tendencies, the fact that he is blind makes him all the more interesting and lovable.
Thomas from the Dresden files. Ok, when you have an entrance into the series in a masquerade outfit dressed like a butterfly, then on top of that look hot to boot. Its hard not to instantly fall in love. Seriously, one of the descriptive lines for him " Thomas has the kind of whiter than white boyish grin that makes woman's undergarments spontaneously disappear". Every time I get talking about him I wonder if his Vampiric charm is effective through the page.

OK, I've got one. Ben from The Castaways of the Flying Dutchman series by Brian Jacques. I think he is a really cute character, and a really touching one too, because he becomes immortal and can never stay in one place for long, always leaving friends behind.

Ever since I read Interview with the Vampire I have fallen in love with Lestat. Which is weird cause he's like the opposite of my type. Tall, blond, arrogent, that type of thing. But it works for him. I don't know, it hard to explain.
When I saw the movies, my love increased. Tom Cruise and Stuart Townsend make wonderful Lestats, even though Tom Cruise is kind of a douche in real life.

Tsuki no Mugen Mine would be Edmond Dantes in The Count of Monte Cristo. I couldn't help but think of the ending quote for V for vendetta on that one. "Who was V anyway?" "He was Edmand Dantes..." It continues on to be rather poetic and epic, but thats how it starts. sweatdrop Anyway, off topic

 I have several, so it really depends on which book I'm reading.
Such as, I have a huge thing for Jacob Black in the Twilight series. One for Severus Snape for Harry Potter. In manga, there is Scar from Fullmetal Alchemist. You can probably see a pattern sweatdrop
I always seem to go for the underdog, or for the bad guy who is actually a good guy in the end. <3
