Ok, so there is going to be a remake [Or already is in Japan] of Final Fantasy IV for DS. I really think thats great since I've been playing the Gameboy Advance one and I really like it. So with some updated graphics like they did with III is even cooler.
Ok, I am not quite sure exactly when it will come out but I do know that it will be soon since Gamestop started putting up cases.
Anyway, Yay!

WOW! First a remake for the GBA and now for the DS....

Let's hope they solve that way too frequent battle problem. I remember playing the Nintendo version when I was a kid and every time I was on the world map, every 3 steps, BANG! Battle time. Very frustrating stressed

I think that IV for the DS proves Square Enix is thinking about doing the good stuff next, I mean watch in about a year V will be announced then VI later, I think they need to get over the fact that VII would be angry to some "old-gen" gamers, but they should realize, not everyone had a PSX....I did but some didn't....
Heres my idea. when the 8th generation game systems come out(I guess the WiiWii, the Playstation IV and the Xbox 720)<---not seriously for the record
Release all of the "clock"(I-XII and sub XI for X-2), yes it would cost about $500 or so, but people would buy it don't you think, but I don't Care what you do, give all the people who can't buy a NES, SNES,or PSX a chance.
Yes i know i rambled alot, but they need to quit beating around the bush, but thats my theory on why they are doing IV...

Oh, I pray there never will exist such a thing as the "WiiWii."
I'm not so sure it would be a good idea to do up to XII on 8th gen. Sure, plenty of us would buy it all, but I seriously doubt they could turn a profit that way, and people would definitely get upset at them for some reason or another.
VII, though... If it doesn't make the PS3, I would definitely root for it next round, no matter how far in the future.

I hate it when they remake game I have played. :/ But since they added new flashbacks and scenes, dont you think we'll get more of the story? And also, whats wrong with playing a beloved classic with amazing features such as the 3D render and new systems of play? And on top of that, there's a new summon that can be powered up by playing minigames with the stylus.

There's nothing wrong with it; I just don't like it.
I'd prefer to buy and play a new game, and when they remake a game I've already played (especially if I own the game) I get annoyed, because they add all these cool new features and I want it. It's kinda like a scale: on the one side, there's something new and different, and on the other there's a new version of something (of course, if I didn't like the game, I'm indifferent). I hate having to choose between which two to get, is all.

Yay, though! That's sooner than I thought. Yuri Lowenthal. whee Now I have to avoid thinking of Cecil as Sasuke. I know what you mean, Arikai. What I hate hate mostly, though, is that if I get the new version, I'll feel like my old one is useless.
