What's up guys?
My prom is on the 17th. I didn't know I was going until the day after tickets were sold out. My date was like "Are you going to prom?" I'm like no... She flipped "Why not?!?! It's your senior year you have to." I told her there was no way, and besides I didn't even have a date since my girlfriend at the time had a .4 GPA. She asked "If I can get everything signed and get the administrator(Who hates my entire being) to get the tickets will you go?" I agreed, because I doubted she could pull off such a feat....
She did.
So I paid, and I was like... "Now I have to rent a tux... Me.... A TUX... ARRGH!!!!"
So I went and instead of renting a tuxedo, like everyone else, I bought a black and red Zoot Suit. Hat, chain, and everything. Now I find out that she doesn't have the money for a dress...
She's going to make one out of her curtains...
Sigh...
It's straight though...
Scrubby's a way of life XP
Anyways...
Anybody else a senior and/or going to prom?
Stories, advice, etc.

I bought my prom dress for like $20 from one of my friends. It was an old bride's maid dress. Hell, tell her to check out some thrift stores.
I only spent an hour or so at my prom. Then went over my friend's house & jumped in his pool in my dress. Good Times. I didn't do anything special for prom, no limo, no crazy after-party, just did what I did everyday. Hung out with the people that made me happy.
P.S.
Zoot Suits are sexy as hell. Good Job. smile

never went to prom...i went to drugs and my dumbass droped out in 2002.
i just now started studing for the G.E.D. i take the test in June.
sucks tho but i'll live.
but if i did go to prom i'd prolly wear one of them white suits with black stripes and look like a mobster. it'd be pretty cool.

I went to Prom when I was a freshman....lol and my dress was made. I designed it and my ex step mother made it. Other than that I went to a dance called Snowball with a $30 dress...and a two others I wish I could forget. But I hung out with a bunch of friends instead of going to prom. Better way spent as I see it.
