The Robin Knightmare Frame, v1.0, built entirely from bionicle pieces and assembled to scale with 3" GI Joe figurines from the 80's-early 90's. v1.5 is complete, but I have yet to take pictures. Most of the differences between versions are aesthetic , filling in gaps and improving armor design. The two biggest diffferences you'll see here are the blade and gun were removed to be replaced by a custom weapon that functions either way, as well as a different escape pod design that is more true to the show. Any discrepancies are duely noted, lets just say this was an early prototype that Britannia never fielded... Now for the pics. Believe me, v1.5 looks a lot better. I'll get pics up asap. Front View Gun side view Rear View Blade side view Gun arm Blade arm (blade rotates out) Cockpit/Chasis Cockpit (Open) Salute! Escape Pod V1

v1.0 Time: 4-5 hours. I didn't keep track, but that's generally how long I think it took. I was just mashing pieces together and all of a sudden I was holding a leg, and i was like "DUDE I TOTALLY SHOULD!!" Long story short, I did. The legs came first, then the main upper body and arms/head. I stuck to the weapons Lego had already provided me with out of laziness. The cockpit was the last part of v1.0 to be built.
After building, the entire structure was somewhat unstable. The torso wasn't fully secured to the waist, so every so often it would fall forward and need to be reattached. The legs were loose and wobbly, not able to hold anything up straight, so I had to secure them down. All in all, there were several design flaws and inconsistencies.
v1.5 Time: 2-3 hours. This wasn't really intentional, at first. I had lost the gun that I was using for v1.0 and was wondering what to do when I just decided to up and make my own weapon. The weapon used today is the result of that. A month later, I realized that I could do a whole lot more with it, and sent about rennovating it. The first thing that happened was i stuck something on the shest, partially covering the "gears, and giving it a much more pleasing look. Then i up and restructured the connection between torso and waist, completely stabalizing it and giving it a much truer look to the Knightmares from the anime. The escape pod didn't really change, I just changed what parts were removed. After changing the inner structure of the body, I found I had left a large open space in the rear, and I made adjustments for the energy filler. The last change was the addition of an armour plate in the Knightmare's groin area, and it was purely for aesthetic purposes.

ANNOUNCEMENT!
Construction will soon begin on Robin MKIII, which I am considering renaming the Sirnotappearinginthisfilm MKI, since you will likely NEVER see it an an episode of Code Geass. The biggest planned change is the addition of a detachable, retractable, flight attachment.
More updates to follow.
