I bought a 1991 Ford Escort with ONLY 41,701 miles on it. It was a one owner car and the elderly lady came up from florida to sell it. This car has absolutely no rust anywhere on it. The car has an underbody coating on it so that means it will last even longer in New York with all the salt it may get in the coming years. I only paid $1600 for it and every penny was worth it. The A/C still works also. These pictures are not the actual car, I will have some for all of you in the coming day or two, but these are what it looks like. These are the pictures of my car. Isn't it in great condition.

Wow, low mileage. I think it was worth it. I just wonder if it will be a problem mechanically in the months to come. Just don't drive the crap out of it.

It's not like it would be hard to get parts for an escort. Are you going to sell your oldsmobile?

The main problem was with the electronic control module, which was sensitive to heat and vibration. Where did they mount it? ON THE MOTOR BLOCK! When it failed, it was like someone turned the key off, and the car would not restart until the damn thing was replaced.

I brought my car that you can see above to Duntire Raceway Park, formerly known as Lancaster Motor Speedway, and put a time down of exactly 12.50. The car with a pro driver and a manual trans was rated at 11.71. So, mine an auto put that down. The adrenaline is awesome. I pulled up to the line and the announcer asked me. I hope you've done some modifications to that thing, he then put the mic through my window and I simply said no. But then pointed to the top of my windshield at the Ford decal that I had put on. Anyway, I pulled up and staged perfect, and as the lights went down, I put my left foot on the brake and right about 1/4 way down on the accelerator, and I took off perfectly with a really good reaction time. After that it was simple, put the peddle to the floor and leave it their for 1/8 of a mile.
Oh yeah, it was also my first time doing this.

Your car only has 90k on it, that's not that much. from what I saw of the other 300 cars, I think your car would be around the 11 second range.
