This is old, old, OLD news.
And the game is most likely true, but it's not as if its the online version on the DS.
Think of it as a super crappy Mario game, only with MapleStory sprites, and objectives.

I don't know if the game will be good or not, but for me a Mario like game with maple characters would be fun. I like side scrolling games 3nodding
