Verbs

Verbs are the same in the infinitive and present tense. For example, bu li means 'I to be' and 'I am.'

The past tense is indicated by 'ma' after the verb. For example, ri li-ma means 'he to be/was.'

The present progressive is indicated by 'zu' after the verb. For example, re li-zu means 'it is being.'

The imperfect is indicated by 'wo' after the verb. For example, buko li-wo means 'we used to be.'

The subjunctive (there is no difference between 'past' or 'present' subjunctive) is indicated by 'ku' after the verb. For example, so li-ku means 'if she were.'

The imperative is indicated by 'geu' after the verb. For example, li-geu means 'be!'

The future is indicated by 'yo' after the verb. For example, risore li-yo means 'they will be.'

The conditional is indicated by 'be' after the verb. For example, re li-be means 'it could be.'

There is no verb for 'to can, be able to,' and la' is added before the verb. For example, bu la'li means 'I can be.'

To say one has to do something, one would add he' before the verb. For example, bu he'li means 'I have to be.'

To negate a verb (or really anything, for that matter), one would add a' before the verb. For example, so a'li means 'she is not.'

If one were to say 'we cannot be,' a- would come before la'. For example, buko ala'li.

Sentence Structure and Stuff Like That

Question Words
They always go at the end of a sentence, when the sentence is a question.
If the sentence is not a question, it doesn't have to go at the end.

Examples

Bǎ xatábi taná?! - How can you forget?!
Taná bǎ axatábi-yo keung. - You won't forget how to sleep.

Plural
To make a noun plural, one adds the number of things before the noun.
If it's an un-specified amount, one uses two zeroes.

Examples

Pé-ai so ido! - She has four hands!
Níní-licasy bǎ ido. - You have some cats.

Time Warp

Xilǎoduó re li, pèleduó yi li
Dèku zotáli
Má! Fè'xa kuángdo-geu, mosyna yi a'li
Vangxu bu he'basy.

It's astounding, time is fleeting
Madness takes its toll
But listen closely, not for very much longer
I've got to keep control.

Yi'bianxu bu ataxakao xatamjè-wo
Yi (bu) tǒsy-zu saná

I remember doing the Time Warp
Drinking those moments when
The blackness would hit me and the void would be calling
Let's do the time warp again...
Let's do the time warp again!

It's just a jump to the left
And then a step to the right
With your hands on your hips
You bring your knees in tight
But it's the pelvic thrust that really drives you insane,
Let's do the Time Warp again!

It's so dreamy, oh fantasy free me
So you can't see me, no not at all
In another dimension, with voyeuristic intention
Well-secluded, I see all
With a bit of a mind flip
You're there in the time slip
And nothing can ever be the same
You're spaced out on sensation, like you're under sedation
Let's do the Time Warp again!

Well I was walking down the street just a-having a think
When a snake of a guy gave me an evil wink
He shook me up, he took me by surprise
He had a pickup truck and the devil's eyes.
He stared at me and I felt a change
Time meant nothing, never would again
Let's do the Time Warp again!
