Veritas, the dragon of Amethyetical... Beijing Olympic Orchestra, Green Hub. On Gaia, I am Veritas of the Amethyst. In real life, I play quint toms for the green hub of the Beijing Olympic Orchestra. For those that do not know, the 2008 strong group of musicians collaborated in Beijing for the 2008 Olympic games come from all walks off life, and are together for the sole purpose of providing entertainment for the lead up, and during, the Olympic Games. The group is divided into three separate "hubs": Green Hub: The hub that I belong to. This hub consists of the Australasia and Pacific region. Red Hub: This hub consists of the Americas. Gold Hub: The largest group, this group is the actual China part of the orchestra. To find out more, check out http://www.beijing2008olympicorchestra.com/ . Here it details the marching fundamentals, music, information and much more. Hopefully, this forum will provide a gateway between the worlds, and allow information between the hubs to pass. Veritas, the dragon of Amethyetical... Beijing Olympic Orchestra, Green Hub.Well, to use up this reserved spot, I'd like to start by highlighting the success of the trip. It definitely brought people together, and joined the world as one.
As such, I'd like to use this post to say that just because the event is over doesn't mean we should stop talking about it. Get those who went onto the forum, and even those who didn't! I'd love to keep this thread going!
If I need another post sometime in the near future, I'll move this to the first post, but for now it's staying here. Any suggestions would be good as well. Beijing Olympic Orchestra 2008 Forum

Olympic Rings Sheet?
sweatdrop All we've done is work on the music. We have two full(ish) day practices on Monday and Tuesday though. And we are having a Bon Voyage concert on Tuesday night. We leave on the 27th.

Our music is pretty alright I guess... We have two rehearsals left and leave on the 31st. We're one of the last groups to arrive.

He's the percussion teacher, and worked with the drumline over there.
