He stood out like a sore thumb in these parts.. And it bugged him more than he ever thought possible and for once it wasn't to be put down to his generally misbehaving pet, nor his eye patch. No, this time it was down to his height. If his family were alive then he would curse them for it. People just wouldn't stop staring t him, though he didn't honestly mind those who gave him a wide berth because of it.. Seeing as most drow did not usually rise above the height of 5'10-11", at 6'1" or was it 6'"2 now, Vic'zar Claddep did draw quite lot of attention to himself. But gain he told himself that at least that was the only thing people seemed to be staring at. His small dragon, Mavis, appeared to be behaving, although he feared her outward visage of obedience was soon to be shattered. He couldn't keep his hands away from his gold forever, no matter how much she tried to keep it that way. It was embarrassing having a dragon attached to ones fingers when you were trying to make a purchase..
He sighed, lifting a hand to smooth the white bangs of hair out of his face and single eye, tossing the dyed braid over his shoulder as he did so. His pet looked up curiously with a gaping yawn, revealing a packed row of tiny razor sharp teeth.. His fingers tingled. "Yes.." He sighed down t her, "You aren' the only one.. If this informant doesn't arrive soon I think we shall have to call it a day.. Maybe go for some drinks.. You could catch yourself a salamander, huh, my dear..?" He cooed daftly to her. He was greeted with a very flat stare in return. With a small stretch he leant back against the wall of the building, continuing his wait for a drow who should be telling him how the latest raids on the outter tunnels from the previous day had gone..

Nednolu had found herself outside another tavern, looking to relax after training. Even in the small towns and cities they visited along the way, she couldn't get a break. Overall, she was sore, but not in pain. She'd gotten used to her teacher's rough style of training. And though she was tired, she didn't quite want to sleep yet. She knew her body wanted to, but her mind was still buzzing around. So, to keep her body awake while she went to go slow her mind down, she'd left the inn without her cloak. It was still colder than she was used to, but that kept her up. And now she was trying to figure out if she wanted to risk drinking. After a moment of contemplation, she decided it would be fine. After all, she wasn't the sort of drunk to share her secrets with the Underdark. She'd been keeping secrets far too long to have that happen. Before she went in, however, she noticed something strange...
A very tall drow. She blinked, certainly surprised. She'd never seen a drow so tall! Even her teacher was only a couple inches taller than her 5'4". This piqued her curiosity...that and the fact he seemed to be waiting. Up went the polite face, to calculate how she should act, and she approached him.
"Someone keep you waiting too long?"

Vic startled just a little, he had just been starting to drift off into another small world of his own when someone had broken away from the crowds and approached him, head on. Arching an eyebrow he cast his pale blue gaze over her, the corners of his mouth twitching up slowly into a smirk as his dragon gave the female a very beady look indeed. "Wait.. Always waiting, that's how I tend to find myself.. Tell me, Miss, could you be the one I'm waiting for..?" He leant down just a little to leave himself at her eye level, his blue eye piercing but shining all the same with mirth. "I have to say I was expect someone of a much hairier and burly build.." His smile broadened all the more t that as his gaze roamed over her taking in her full ruby lips, her pleasant chest and her lean gently muscled arms. "A warriors, Miss..? Well what an honour to meet one not as close to the spider goddess as others.. Is there some way I could aid you?"

Nednolu chuckled lightly. Good, she didn't have to act like an arrogant p***k. Her own dark ruby eyes reflected the chuckle. "Well...I'm afraid I am most likely not the one you were waiting for. I've made my way here to unwind. I certainly wasn't expecting to meet anyone, though finding another out of the ordinary is certainly...nice." Her polite smile turned to something that was between a grin and a smile. The taller drow was certainly nice to look at...though his final words set her mind on edge a bit. Did she need to dance around this one, or was it best to just act 'normal'?
"Not all can follow such a harsh mistress. Especially those who have no chance of her favor." The laughter in her eyes was replaced with something a little darker. "I'm not quite sure if there's anything you can do to aid me...Unless you would like to buy me a drink?"

With a hearty laugh, Vic reached out and gave her a very firm pat on the shoulder and a playful smack to her arm, "I was referring to the priestesses!! Don't you go taking things like that to heart! You're giving off such strange vibes! One moment you're playful the next you have more edge than a knife!" He gave her what he hoped was a genuine grin and with his hands infront of him gave her a typical looking shrug, "I can assure you, whether you believe me or not, that I'm not out to undermine you or get you while your guards down! Just a trader, down on his luck with a client is all! I think I deserve a drink, I was only offering you to be a drinking companion while I bemoan my brother's existence!" He gave her a roguish wink and offered her his arm, "So that aside, I'm assuming that you would be interested in my offer..?" He practically purred to her, his dragon moved resting her elegant head atop his so she could continue to stare beadily at this newcomer.
