Buruomidu prowled through the forest, attempting to be as quiet as possible. He was stalking a deer herd and didn't want to be detected. Coming to the top of the ridge, Omi looked down below him. Adjacent to the wall of stone, the deer stood, some with their heads up as they searched the area for danger, while the other chewed on the grassy floor. Like water, Omi slid over the edge of the cliff and began his descent downwards. As he went down, he did his best to remain undetected, but today would not be one of his lucky days. His paw hit one of the rocks wrong and sent a cascade of pebbles and dirt down onto the unsuspecting deer below. The moment they hear the motion, the deer bolted and Omi just had time to make a dart of ice and hurl it desperately into the crowd of deer. Unfortunately, it didn't hit any of them, and as they got away, Omi simply sighed and bounded he rest of the way down the cliff face, walking over and resting beside his ice dart, which was now stuck and melting in the ground.

Violetta had bee stalking a small deer in a heard and had been getting closer to getting it. As she climbed up a fallen tree to get a jumping attack she heard some rocks fall scaring the deer. She looked up and saw some ice shoot into the middle of the heard, missing them all. But she took off after the smaller deer. She was alot faster then she looked and caught up to the racing deer swiftly leaping into its side and rolling it over killing it. She sat atop the deer and looked around panting a little bit as she wondered where the Elder was that had tried to get a deer, and also if they were going to attack her for the deer. She perked her ear up and tried to find the direction that the elder was going to come from as she caught her breath from the run.

Omi sighed as he saw another dragonfly do what he couldn't, catch a deer. Shrugging he turned around and began to walk off, not really wanting to disturb the other's meal. I hate confrontation... it's just a waist of energy. Do I even really want to meet anyone else today? No probably not... Sighing once more, Omi began to climb backk up the cliff face with deft ease. He only hesitated for a moment, but when he finally go to the top, he settled down, and looked at the world below him, still able to spot Violetta's splash of purple amongst the tree's.

((Oh... just as a warning... in that last post, Omi usually would have just left, but for the sake of the rp I kept him there.... he doesn't stay anywhere unless there is a trying reason for it... if you can't think of anything in this situation... he could just wander off and we could do a "few days later" kind of thing where he spots her again... it sounded pretty cool in my mind..... sweatdrop heart ))

Violetta saw something blueish move through the trees away and she figured that was the elder that had tried to get the deer. She looked at it and knew, even though it was small, she wouldn't eat it all. She gripped it by the neck and lifted it up over her back and headed towards where the elder had been. She got to where she had seen him and set the deer down. "Ummm, hello!" she called out, "Umm i wanted to share some of this deer with you. You did try and i wont eat all of it. I know it wont be enough to fill you but it might help..." she called out. "I'll just be down here if you want some." she said as she layed down and began eating some of the deer.

Omi crossed his front paws and sat primly amongst the trees and the grass, "Thank you young one, but I do not need assistance with my meals." Remaining in his spot Omi looking down at the female with vague curiosity, nothing that would really make him get up from his spot in the grass. Looking about, he did nothing in particular as the female ate her meal. Omi really had nothing to say to the lady that was worth his energy in saying, so he just kept quiet and enjoyed the shade.

Vi looked up at him with her eyes as she ate. He was quite an odd one yes he was. But she liked that. She ate what she could and licked her lips as she walked a little closer to him. "I understand. Do you mind if i lie here with you?" She asked as she licked her lips and paws some more to get the blood off her. "Oh and my name is Violetta, call me Vi if you like. Whats yours?" she asked as she licked betweens her pads on her left paw.

Omi looked down at Vi and quirked his eyebrows and said with boredom tinging his voice," I do not own the ground, so I would see no reason why you couldn't lay where ever you want." He sighed at her introduction and looked around. Why must they all speak so much... no one can ever just enjoy the silence... and now I am obligated to introduce myself.
He did not answer Vi for quite a while because he wanted to make sure she understood that he wasn't laying there because he wanted to be friends. He was tired, and did not feel like getting up, and she just happened to be there. After a rather long while Omi spoked up, "My name is Buruomidu, and it would be best if that is what you called me..." He paused for a moment and then looked down at Vi from his raised spot with piercing eyes. Grudgingly, but with complete politeness in his tone Omi then continued, "It is nice to meet you Violetta." Omi felt no need to become familiar and kept out of the common practice of giving neither himself nor Violetta a nickname.

Vi felt like he wasn't happy for her to be there...but she wanted to talk to him, he looked like he might be interesting to know once she got him to open up but he seemed unhappy with her talking so she just laid down and rested her head on her paws and thought. She glanced at him as she wondered what she might talk about later when she let him calm down...Well i could ask him what he enjoys...so i know what not to do to make him mad and i know what i can do to make him like me as a friend... She wasn't sure what she could do so she just laid there and glanced at him wondering if he was upset with her or just wanted quiet.

Omi smiled in contempt, glad that the other dragonfly finally got the message. He thought she would leave now and he relaxed for a moment, until she lay down and rested her head on her paws. It was apparent that she was not going anywhere, and frankly neither was Omi. He wasn't about to let some annoying pest actually make him move. Unless she started talking again... then.... Omi sighed and stubbornly looked away from her, wishing she would stop staring at him.

Vi looked at him then looked at her paw as a little beetle walked over her foot. She smiled a little and watched it go up her leg. She lifted her head and watched it. It flew off her leg and around her head for a momant before landing on her nose. She smiled and giggled a little then it crawled into her nose and she sneezed to get it out. She glanced at the elder hoping she hadn't upset him and quickly lay back down like she hadn't been doing anything. She curled her tail up next to her and looked up at the clouds.

Omi twitched uncomfortably, this was going no where and it was just waisting perfectly good daylight hours. With a sigh he looked around himself, slowly scanning the area. When he was sure all was safe, he rested his head upon his paws, and yawning his eyes began to droop. Soon Omi was fast asleep on the forest floor, finally shutting out the entire world as his dreams took over. With a sleep induced sigh, a shiver of pleasure ran down his back as he flew off into the depths of his mind. If the female was not going to be interesting, he had now intention of being her entertainment.

Vi looked at him fall asleep and cocked her head to the side. That was interesting. She wondered how she was going to get him to wake up...was she supposed to do something? How did one entertain an Elder?? Especially one who was so laid back and kinda out of it like this one. She got up and walked around him looking at him, from a safe distance incase he woke up. she had never seen an elder before, not this close, and was looking at how different he looked from the adult males she had seen. She sniffed at him a little wondering where he had come from.

Omi stirred and smirked in his sleep but he did not wake. At least, he didn't let on to Violetta that he was awake. He wanted to see what she would do, and if would be anything interesting enough for him to actually acknowledge her presence. This entire situation became like a game to him, and since he wasn't going anywhere anyways, he might as well have someone entertain him.

Vi sat down and made faces like she had an elder face. She wondered what she might look like as an elder. She stood up and acted like she was all big and scary like an elder as she stomped around and made 'pew'ing noises like she was shooting chunks of ice at things like she had seen him do. She made a huge smile and then giggled to her self as she sat down and looked at him. She saw a bug crawling on his shoulder and leaned forward and looked at it a little. She watched it move around on him and smiled.
