I've only ever seen Simm's Master.
I think that he did a great job with the crazy/charming/evil thing.
However, I am interested in seeing Roger Delgado's performance.
I mean, he was the original, after all.

I prefer Delgado and Ainley... I really liked how Derek Jacobi portrayed the Master right before he regenerated into Simm's version.

Simm is just WAY too hyper for my liking.. the Master has always been cold and calculating, but a lot of new fans think the old incarnations were boring. sad

Well, everyone has their own idea of the characters. Especially the actors. They each create their own version of a Time Lord.

These days people are into the whole fast pace thing. Talking fast, moving fast, fast fast fast fast fast. That's what people seem to be looking for.
