Has anyhing "dramatic" happened with uniforms last year? I 'member that once yeah well lets just say we sent out for dry cleaning. Somebody thought that it would be funny to feed a freshman trumpet some bad food and it stunk up the bus all the way to rockport.

Some people got their hats and various uniforms mixed up. Our drum major went crazy. Eheh, she always overreacted.

Well, it wasn't so much drama, but I did like this guy who was in the uniform committee.
Every time you put your uniform on, you have to go find either a parent chaperone or someone on the uniform committee to check and see if you have it on right. Also, when we take them off, we have to go and check them in with a uniform committee person to see if they're hung up in the garment bag right before putting them away... >->
SO ANYWAYS. I just got my jacket on, and was going to find someone to check and make sure it was on right...when all of a sudden the guy I liked came up and unzipped my jacket and stuff and was like: checking to see if you're uniform's on right!
I was so freaked out. XDD

There was this guy, we don't know how, but he got PERMANENT MARKER on his uniform!!! My BD looked like he was a plum. If he was entered into a county fair under biggest plums, he would have got first prize! We all thought he was going to explode... I feel sorry for the guy because he was only a freshman and to feel my BD's wrath at a freshman level is harsh cause you've got three more years of dealing with him unless you quit (but who would want to quit band anyway?) So the guy had to buy a whole new uniform... Our marching uniforms are close to $300. Ouch. eek

It was my sphmore year, and we had this huge tuba player. Our show was Austin Power's, and in the middle of the show we dance, the entire song, while playing. At the endof the dance we bent down onto our knees, and moved about two knee steps forward. Well this huge tuba player went down and ripped his uniform pants all the way up. Our BD got so mad! And when he gets mad, you'd better run and cover. And the person who fitsour uniforms had to sew it up again. And then it happen again. And the pants where the biggest size we had. omy goodness.

The only uniform drama we had last year was when we were trying to get them dry cleaned in the middle of the season. The place that we usually take them to wouldn't do it since we were playing their football team that week. So at that football game it rained and made the field really muddy. So some kids decided that it would be funny to roll around in the mud. Our BD just laughed and he took the uniforms to the place mentioned earlier and they got real mad. XD

Every year its the same thing someone ends up takeing some one shoes or someones hat or gloves or rain coat its crazywe are organized but when its the day of a show or something and evryone is changing its a messy place crazy sweatdrop rolleyes

Our uniform trama hapened because we used o have sequins on our uniforms last year, and somehow the person before me got all the sparkliness rubbed off. I ended up looking like rainbow fish, after he gave away his scales.... crying

well this year we've had several things happen...(I should know I'm the person in charge of the BAND'S uniform...*sigh*)
At a football game half the band didn't have black socks..we all thought that our band director was ganna kill us..
People have lost their gauntlets, shakoes(sp?), gloves, even shoes...it's even happened to me before.. and that was right before we got dressed for a contest!!! O.O
yeah, still thought we were ganna die..
