Attempt at a quick sketch of this:

Took about 35 minutes, practicing on drawing views that aren't quite straight on and drawing from photos. I was debating on whether or not to change anything or if I should draw his hair. The scanner somewhat screwed it. But um yeah...

Thoughts?

My personal thought:
Not complete s**t but hell if I know. its off I think I tilted it upward a bit but I'm unsure if thats really whats wrong with it, nice for a quick sketch though, This was also the first time in a while I can remember drawing teeth.

Edit:

Also,

A practice on hands, I'm debating on how to color it or if I should even touch it. The scanner kind of ******** the details but yeah

things i noticed:
the mouth doesnt wrap around the face like it should
he's not looking at the camera like he is in the pic
forehead is too small
anime angry eyebrows
chin is too big

uhhhh i dunno it definatly looks humanoid which is nice, i think you just need practice with the face. maybe dont focus so much on getting angles b/c i dunno if you have a frontal face under your control yet
look up how the face is separated, it helps a lot if you have the basic facial proportion down cuz then you can tweak it for individual features

Yes, drawing through is the key to anatomical drawing.

Try picking up a book on chiaroscuro. An understanding of rendering shapes through value would really help.
