Alright.
I am a senior in high school, and currently single. There is this girl who every bi/lez female at my school (including myself) finds attractive. Thing is, she's not that pretty, and everyone who has a crush on her does not personally know her. Right now I'm blaming pheramones for that...
Anyway, back to the topic...
I want to ask her out. Problem is, she's a freshman, I know nothing about her, I only think she's lez (How do you pose a question like that without being creepy?), and she may or may not be in a relationship already.
I was going to try it on Valentines day, most likely with some horribly stupid pick up line, but I had a virus and couldn't go to school for a few days.
Any suggestions? Should I go for it or not?
And if yes, what are some good pickup lines?

just talk to her ad get to no her find out what she likes um go to the libsry abd do some school work c if she comes in and talk to her. just be ur self snd after a wile ull get to no her enuff anf ull find out what her prefs are twords people. and if she justs blows you off wel she may not like you or just be shy just dont seem to needy or pushy

but anyways, back on subject, i agree with Jess, be yourself and have fun. don't worry about whther she'll say no. hope for the best^^and look happy^^also, i've learned that making fun of yourself helps^^

well, you should first try to be friends with her. if you don't know much about her, you can't really say you like her that much. anyways, after you become friends with her, explain that you like her. pickup lines are always lame. i dunno her though. some girls like the corny ones who go for the stupid lines. it really just depends on how she is. but you won't know what to do until you learn more about her, and the best way to do so is to become her friend. 3nodding
