ok, so i dunno if this topics been done before, but i was wondering what people do about being gay at school. i mean, with all the gay stereotypes and/or rumors, what do you do when someone questions your orientation? do you proudly say, "yup, i'm gay/bi/whatever you may be" or do you get offended and cuss at them. or do you do something else. i guess this is mainly a question for those in the closet. or for those who had this problem when they were in the closet. but, yeah, what's a proper reaction to this type of stuff?

well, before i even came out to myself, there was a stupid rumor spread around my middle school ((during 6th grade, mind you)) that i was a lesbian and if any girl even spoke to me, i would rape them.
yeah, well when i finally came out to myself, the first person i came out to was my b/f. he said "no you're not" and left it at that^^
since i went to a VERY conservative and stupid middleschool, if that's what you go to, don't come out unless you're ready. if, like my highschool, your high school is very accepting and doesn't mind, go ahead and come out, tell your friends. my b/f didn't seem to like it much, but i told others, eventually and they all thought it was awesome.
however, if you're bi, the answer is: "no, you can't watch."

i don't really tell people. i've told 1 of my friends in school, other than my bf but i don't really say anything i don't want rumors about me to go around i have a hard enough time trying to get the jocks to leave me alone as it is i don't need them making fun of me for being bi and calling me a whore and all that nice stuff but, i'll probably only tell my close friends who won't judge me

I been out in my school for a while now. I used to cop a fair bit of verbal abuse from jerks, but now i'm a senior its not so bad. People eventually get over themselves. And since everyone knows there's really no need to ask. Though when i was coming out i got asked a few times, but for the most part people just believed whatever the person next to them said.

where i'm from, rumors spread outta nowhere. and the most popular "insulting" one is that your either gay or pregnant. what sucks, though, is that i dunno where the people are getting the idea that i'm gay since i didin't tell them. but now that i've accepted it, i dunno if i should tell these people, 'yes' or 'no' because if i say 'none of your business' they all assume i am. but anyways, i totally dissed this one girl who asked me. she was all, 'you know that everyone thinks that you and your friends are a bunch of lesbos, right?' and since i am the only one of us who is, i tried saying i wasn't and was all, "well, if we're gay than what about all those girls i see in the bathroom rubbing lotion on themselves in front of eachother and giggling?" and she got quiet. it was funny... and kinda off-topic, but i felt like posting... ok, i'm finally done bye bye. xd
