Hello there. My name is Kit, and I would like to discuss Hunter x Hunter with you.
Since I don't feel like divulging into an RP, I would like to bring this discussion up as a way of discussing any and all aspects of Hunter x Hunter with one another. To break the ice and start a conversation, let's start with how certain shounen mangas *coughNARUTOcough* have taken ideas from Hunter x Hunter and molded them into something similar for themselves.

Was my cuteness distracting you? heart Anyways, ever notice how similar Uchiha Sasuke and Kuruta Kurapica are? Red eyes that increase power, family killed by at least one member of an evil organization, super yaoi fandom (although that could be compared with ANY character, but still). It's hard to think that Kishimoto Masashi didn't copy Togashi in any way.

I Am Ilpalazzo Okay- I see your point there. What about Killua? Who would be his foil in Naruto? Hmm... I'd have to say that he's part Shikamaru and part Gaara. He's a badass genius, and he is a monstrous opponent who is extremely skilled and practically invincible. Gon would be Naruto, since both of them are simple-minded and voice-acted by the same person. And Leorio would be Jiraiya and Sakura, because he's a healer (sorta), relatively perverted and experienced in the ways of money.

I Am Ilpalazzo Killua does rock- and Kurapica just gets my attention heart with his "Leorio" ha ha! But the most fascinating character for me was Hisoka- and the way he 'lets' characters live during the trial- (before the great cook-out) ha ha Is the "great cook-out" you're referring to the tournament part of the exam or the Celestial Tower arc?

I Am Ilpalazzo oh man, the tournament part- which was hysterically stupid... It was necessary though. Gon needed the Hunter's License and since it was the first arc, it was planned from the start. It wasn't just some filler crap.

Yes, because Illumi hypnotizing Killua into killing an old man is definitely relieving tension. xd Although Gon's fight against Hanzo was amazing too. That reminds me... When the f*** is Hanzo being brought back into the series? He's the only non-main character to deserve his Hunter's License. Although to be fair, Pokkuru didn't die until Nefelpitou (who killed Kaito for God's sake) came in and whooped his a**.

Heeey, wow... this wasn't easy to find! xD
It was great so far but I couldn't get ahold of very much of it... so I forced the library to buy more, but they're still cataloguing it... I'll know what you're talking about soon though! First couple volumes were great!
