If you speak German, you've got to the right place.
I don't know what's so special about it, but hey, it sounds good, doesn't it?
Speak any other langauges? Post 'em here.

Wie geht es dir?

Hmm... Well, since I'm a German student, I know much, MUCH more than that, and I can spell them. However, I will reveal a secret: 'dict.cc'. It's a German-to-English dictionary website. Try it out.

Oh, and a funny thing... Gesundheit doesn't really mean 'bless you'. When translated literally, it means 'good health'. Like, "I wish you good health." Weird, huh?

I SAID, "I'm also good. Thank you." Because he said, "Yes! I speak the German! I'm good, and you?"
Though... 'Ihnen' is the proper form of you, for use when talking to an adult or a superior. Probably should've used 'dir'.

Indeed. Direct translations are always so more...bleh than the original, haha.

Sometimes, though, direct translations are more fun, I think. For example. Voulez-vous coucher avec moi, c'est soir?
Would you like to couch with me, this night?

To couch = To sleep

Many people think it's sexual, and in the song it is. But any French person you ask that to would probably look at you funny and laugh.

Hehe.
Kind of depends, though. I wrote a French poem called En Hiver, and then I wrote the English version, and the French one was just so much better.
