I'd have to say...out of the women, Natsume; the girl who defeated Chu and lost against Mukuro in the last saga. She may not have had a huge role, but she was quite beautiful. smile
As for the men, it would have to be either Hiei or (I will regret saying this) Kuwabara; he has that rugged, handsome look.

I remember her : ) she was very beautiful. None of the women in Yu Yu Hakusho are particularly portrayed in that overly sexualized look that were used to in anime biggrin well except for the nurse girl Ruka xd that was from the Dark Tournament.
I think Mukuro has a very nobel and admireable personality, despite that so many fans dislike her. As for the guys I guess their all beautiful in their own different ways, but I would have to say Hiei, Yusuke, or Kurama. But I see what your saying about Kuwabara : ) He really is such a good person.

I agree wholeheartedly about Mukuro. So many fans dislike her (most just because she's a potential love interest for Hiei... I should know, my RL best friend was/is one of them stare ), but really, she's one of the better female anime characters so far as not being overly sexualized and such (you both pretty much said already what I would have said on the subject).
As far as the guys go... I see where all of the ones on the poll are good-looking in their own way, but I've got to go with the classic bishonen (as in a guy who's so pretty, he could be mistaken for a girl). For those who haven't guessed yet, I mean Kurama.
I don't know why I like pretty guys (I'm definitely straight, so it's not a matter of confusion on that part, unlike what people seem to believe about me) - it's just how I am.
And I love your signature, Yuudai-san. I can't imagine why anyone would run away from it. >^^<

As for the case of Mukuro, how dare she? That is too cruel! Yu Yu Hakusho finally gets a strong female character, and female fans of the show hate her because she 'steals their man'? Sorry, but that is just stupid. stare @Ecurran: He should have used those glasses throughout the series, right? *Starts singing the Men In Black-theme*

lol too true. I think fans were just sort of jealous at the idea that Hiei was with someone since he is such a popular character. I'm not going to lie either, even I was jealous whee heart but that dosn't mean you have to hate or condemn a specific character or anything. Most people just can't get that 3nodding

I can't remember where it was (someone will though) but someone said that if the characters were real, Yusuke and Kuwabara would be the best looking because Hiei and Kurama will look too fake...'plastic' was the term they used, I think.
And I agree with ecurran-san...all the characters have something that gives them their own unique beauty.

Though saddened to admit it, I also agree about the fake and "plastic" part - Hiei's hair is too "out there" and Kurama is just too darn pretty for them to look truly realistic. Although... I do think they could come darn close: HieiKurama (The neon-bright red hair aside, I do think he looks like a real-life version of Kurama)

To me the best looking male character is, and always will be, Kuronue. I don't care that he's only in the movie and we only see him for a grand total of ten minutes. Kuronue is gorgeous. Although, those are just my personal tastes... When it comes to the females of Yu Yu Haksho though, I really think Ayame is the best looking of them. You don't see her very often, but she's another reaper, the one that actually looks like a reaper, black kimono, black hair, and everything. I'll try to find a decent picture of her later.
