I finally got the attention span to get a character to 70 xp damn i love how much quest gold you get for not getting experience but im still 150 gold short of getting flying mount .... going to figure out what daily quests the are and start attunement for raids. Anyone have a good suggestion of the first Raid dungion and new 70 should attune to?

I have two 70s, and my third high-level dinged 60 yesterday, so I can go through Outland again. as soon as you have your flying mount you should start doing the Skyguard Dailies, they're pretty easy and make you some money. Further you should get your attunement to Kharazan, which brings you to a number of Outland dungeons, which helps you with getting better gear as well. Doing PvP can help you with getting better gear as well, since the season 1 arena items are sold at a nice honor/marks price.
But most of all, have fun!

New 70's should almost always start with Kara first as far as raiding but not before they've got as many blues as possible from 5-mans and/or heroic loots. Don't try to do ZA without Kara gear, it'll suck big time. Gruul is also a good one to go to if you aren't fully geared out. =)

Normal gear progression usually goes like this for new 70s: normal instance normal instance normal instance get blues get blues get blues HONOURED WITH INSTANCE FACTION no more greens get heroic keys ignore heroics do pvp for a month get a couple s1 epics kara kara heroic kara heroic kara omg the purples kara heroics clear kara GRUULS wipe wipe wipe clear heroics get badges turn in badges.
Its early for me.

I agree with the other posters. Work on getting keyed for Kara. That involves doing some five mans, which might give you some blues. It will also give you rep for your heroic keys.
If you're not in a Kara guild, you might want to join one. Doing a full pug in Kara isn't usually a great idea. Also, if you're in a guild that does Kara, they can help you get keyed and let you know if you still need more gear before going in. We have a list of recommended stats before going into Kara on our guild's website for the new 70s.
After you are keyed for Kara, look at your gear. Do you still have greens? If so, you might want to do some battlegrounds, arena, or more five mans to replace your greens with blues or a couple of purples before going into Kara.
Once you're geared enough for Kara and heroics, try them out.

Do not attempt a Kara PuG before you know the place front & back, have really nice gear, & then only do it IF: You know the raid leader, trust the loot master, & know that everyone else knows WTF they're doing too. My first ever Kara attempt was on Saturday night, & even though I made it absolutely clear I was a first-timer, they wanted me to main tank (I did) & not ask any damn questions (I asked a ton). The only clear instruction I got was 'pull'. -___-;; And the raid leader/loot master was a prickass & Needed on a cloak from Moroes after two other people said they wanted to roll as well & passed when told to. We fell apart at Maiden, because OMFG worst s**t ever for a fledgling Tankadin to try & MT. I got [Vambrances of Courage] though, so yaaay.

I need a raid group *grumble* I've never even seen Kara. Hell I've never been in a Heroic... *sigh*
Anyway, the following are my characters of note in order of level as of right this moment:
Warrior(70) Mage(67) Paladin(63) Druid(41)
And in the order of most-often-played.
Mage(67) Warrior(70) Warlock(2 cool
So, I have one 70 that lives on Netherwing Ledge because I can't do s**t except quest as a fury warrior and I can't quest as a Prot warrior (I miss tanking crying ) I have a frost mage that will be 70 within a few weeks, so that's two 70s,
I should have a third 70 some time before the apocalypse, and its a toss up weather it will be the paladin or the warlock or the druid.
crying I wanna raid!!!! crying crying crying crying

If you solely wish to raid, level the paly, spec Holy. You will get a guild instantly, unless your server is somehow full of healers (when does this happen? ._.). I am stubborn & like to tank on my paly, so uh, I have a harder time... my healing set is such a joke, I only use it in BGs & keep it a shameful bank secret otherwise. lol

(Granted my server is scrubby/PvE retarded).

Do heroics and Kara I would say. I would suggest cenarian circle rep so you can use the repair outside SSC but next patch from what i hear they're getting rid of attunement requirements for Hyjal and BT. sweatdrop

They are indeed, but anyone who is already attuned get a title or whatever.
But first raid is definitely Kara, then gruuls, then i have no freaking clue because i have yet to still do kara. (stupid guild raids always being at random times.) evil

We need more tanks and can't accept any new healers (unless they don't want to raid anytime soon). One night, it was so bad, our main healer respecced feral to offtank the first half of Kara. So for anyone leveling a paladin or druid and wanting to raid, it might be wise to check out what's needed more on your server, or better yet, check out what's needed in your guild. Zethriel So, I have one 70 that lives on Netherwing Ledge because I can't do s**t except quest as a fury warrior and I can't quest as a Prot warrior (I miss tanking crying ) If you want to level, quest, or farm prot, go for it. People might joke about it, but I certainly have seen it done. Our main healer is actually in the process of leveling a prot warrior (thank goodness) who is level 64 at the moment. He soloed up to about level 55, then started questing with my resto shaman. So there's another option, find a reliable friend or guildie about your level who is willing to farm, quest, or level with you.

yup basically grind yer arse off in normal dungeons for blues, when your full blue go for heroics and kara attunement. get yer arse in a kara guild do a mix of kara and heroics to get as many epics as possible, you'll get a good mix of kara, heroic, and badges gear, try to cut down the amount of pvp epics you get as they suck balls for pve, they have too much stam and armour instead of more useful stats. bear in mind kara is hard.. if you wipe on your first few goes on bosses or pulling mobs when your with equally geared people then don't worry it happens to everyone and you'll eventually get used to it and breeze through like my guild = xp xd make sure to get the appropriate addons for raids: KTM/omen, DBM/Bigwigs, ventrillo (if your guild uses mic's to convey orders, trust me it makes things alot easier to say it over vent during a hard fight than to type it and it's alot clearer than vc.)
