Its around the year 2056, electricity had never been invented, instead steam had kept its course and now powers everything from, robots to cars and motorcycles. Only ten years ago a young girl of only seven years had designed a special steam engine, a much more refined and powerfull steam engine and is now a reknowned inventer throught the world. Now ten years later, this seventeen year old wants nothing more than to get away from it all. So she packs her bags and leaves. The world is the real world so everything in this world is the same except for the obvious no electricity.
Really this is a nonsense RP. You still have to pay attention to what others are writing and you have to write it in story form but the basic story line is this girl , Kit, finds friends and they go around the world experienceing all kinds of different things. You could say its a real life , fantasy story.

Oh ya and I only want about 5 main characters, after that no one else can join. Those who have joined though can make new characters. like love interests, oh and the only " villans " in this will be your typical bad guy like a mugger to a worse kind, like a murderer. and also the bad guy, depending on your point of view, is the parents.
