ok, so yeah I'm doing a project on Marching Bands as a culture. Basically what I want is for people to post Marching band jokes that only we would get, or lingo that we would understand. Also maybe some stereotypes? Pretty much anything you think would help me. BTW the techer gave no limits, she just said it had to be about a culture and of our own creation.
This would really help me. I hope this is allowed here if not I'm sorry I thought the best place to come would be here

This sounds like what my sociology class has been talking about.
I'd say our lingo includes: instrument names marching commands our fingering/tonguing, etc, which other people don't seem to understand music is, in many ways, it's own language (dynamics, tempo markings) Honor bands, DCI and maybe Judges and competitions or performances
I think those all count, as normal people wouldn't talk that way.
As for jokes: "One more time" (anyone who says this makes me laugh) hmm...I can't think of many more, perhaps find one of those joke threads and see if any of the jokes would work?
