if I were voting in the primaries, I'd vote for Obama. the reason why I'm not is because as I understand it, you have to declare yourself for whatever party it is by registering in that party and I'm not a party person (no pun intended).
I usually vote democrat when it comes down to who gets elected president, but really I vote according to which person I think would be better regardless of party affiliations.
at this point, it's either going to be Obama or Clinton.. and rumor has it, that whichever wins will take the other with him/her as VP. and considering I dont like *any* of the republicans in the race, whichever one of them wins the primary, I will vote for to be elected to be the next pres.

I'm not sure who I'll be voting for or if I will. I'm just annoyed with this whole "Oh wow Obama is black!" and "Oh wow Hillary is a woman" thing. Its aggrivating.

I know his wife has cancer, so that must be rough on him. it really doesnt matter because by tonight the primaries will be over. maybe he'll be in it again in 2012. I liked him too. incidentally, I just learned you dont have to declare for a particular party for the primaries, but dammit I cant find my card!!!!!!!

I am voting this year. yay! im finally 18, I would probably go with Obama not because he's black but because i like some of the things he says. and i honestly hate republicans, they screw up everything. In all reality, I think the republicans are going to win. this country is full of a lot of racist and sexist people.

If V was 18, I'd vote Obama I find I share a lot of views with him on most of his major ideas and the fact I dislike Clinton for her involvement on stricter ESRB ratings for video games(V has to use a go-between for almost every recent game that's supposed to be decent) and Gravel, I haven't heard much about him sadly.
Although he's not included in the poll I'd also be tempted to vote for McCain

That is ,if they start counting the votes this time around, but thats a whole other topic all togeather so I wont get into that.

If I was able to vote, it'd be for Obama. Instead of trying to raise money for his own campaign, people just donate money to him to help. Also, he relies on the decisions of the people, whether they want him or not, to further his success. Not to attack Clinton or her supporters, but she isn't like that in any way. Her campaign doesn't work, so she brings in her husband, then fires her current campaign manager, then doesnt even try to win support in certain primaries. Again, this isn't an attack on her. I haven't heard much about Gravel. Personally, I think it's a bit late at this point for him to win much support, but who knows what could happen? Besides having Bill Clinton, the US has had too many Republican Presidents, and I'm not saying that's bad, but we need a new course of action. The democrats are the only real answer for that, and Hillary Clinton isn't going to be what we need at the moment. I think Obama will be the leader we need.

I don't vote, and the logic is really simple. In the end, when it comes to the presidency, it doesn't mater wat the people vote. it's the electoral college who makes the final decision. And I believe that if you do vote, you have no right to complain about how messed up of a job the canidate you helped to put in is doing. I, on the other hand, can complain all I want because I didn't do squat to help or hinder, because I know no matter who we elect, they;re politicians. They say one thing but in the end they act out of personal interest and ideas.

I mean, they're the ones that believed in the person and that person let them down. I think it's more the people who dont vote at all one way or the other that have no right to complain because they didnt want any say in the matter to begin with. I hate the electoral college, I think it's an outdated method and needs to be changed. but that doesnt automatically mean that individual voting is futile. there have been instances in the past where a state previously for one side switched to the other, and that's ultimately because of it's voters.

Shhhhhhhh! I'm about to defy you.I'm not quite sure who I'd vote for yet. I don't particularly like either one of them. And, if I'm being honest, I kind of like Hillary's policies more than Obama's.
I had a candidate I could support in Bill Richardson, but he had to drop out of the flippin' race *makes a face*
I'm waiting to do more research into the candidates when it gets down to the presidential race though. That's when what they say matters more to me.
And to whomever said that the Republicans are probably gonna lose... It is possible for the Democrats to screw this up. You have enough people who hate Hillary and enough people that hate Obama, and if the Republicans pick someone half way decent, he may just win. I don't really see that happening, but it's a possibility. After all, people don't pick a candidate they necessarily agree with, they just vote against the guy they can't stand.
Ok, I'm done for the moment :]

I dont like the electoral college eather, as you know, calypsophia. however, I still believe it is very important to vote. some of the electoral ppl will vote for what the people want. (though not many) and for that, I still choose to vote. especially this year. with bush out of the picture, our votes may actually be counted.............
