Okay, I'm not the kind of person who has irrational fears. If I had one, I can usually rationalize it away. Fear of spiders? Irrational. Don't have it. Fear of the dark? Irrational. Don't have it.
But, all of a sudden, I am absolutely terrified of the Doctor Who bad guys. Daleks scare the crap out of me, which is really, really stupid, since they're a bit silly. I've tried to rationalize it away like I do everything else, but it's not working.
Am I the only one who gets this? And just how obsessed AM I?

As for how obsessed you are, I'd say no more than the rest of us. mrgreen Although I love The Daleks and Cybermen, they do kind of scare me. eek But the weeping angels scared the crap out of me! burning_eyes Although here's a word of advice-- lay off the Jelly Babies. I think The Master has doctored them in yet another attempt to take over the world. That could explain your fear.

I have nightmares about Daleks and Cybermen. Argh.
And when I saw a picture of a Dalek, I thought it was hilarious. Then, I continued to think it was hilarious until the end of series 1. *shivers*

I so loved the Dalek/Cybermen smack down! That was awesome! I have two photos in my picture file taken from around that time. It was during the World Cup. A magazine called The Radio Times(in England) ran two covers. One was called The Daleks vs The Cybermen, and had a Dalek holding a football. And one of the Daleks was black and silver, like a referee or umpire. The other cover said , "The Cybermen vs The Daleks" and had a Cyberman holding the ball! I LOVE the British! They have such great style! mrgreen

During the episode Blink i was scared speechless by the weaping angels, however it felt i was half-laughing and half-scared and by the end of the episode i was speechless, which usually doesn't happen to me.

They'd win every game because they'd exterminate any opposing team member that dared score a goal! Hmmm...
