What kind of strings do you guys prefer?
I have D'Addario XL Heavy Gauge .012-.054 on my Washburn V and Ernie Ball Skinny Top, Heavy Bottom Strings .010-.052 on my Jackson Dinky.

I don't really care what strings I use. I just use anything that I feel like using: Ernie Ball, D'Addario, DR, Elixer, whatever. As long as I'm comfortable with playing any style I feel like playing, I'm good.

I use Ernie Ball or GHS boomers light strings. I use Dean Markeley's heavy strings for one of my guitars for low tunings.

I like 010 GHS Boomers... they sound ok, but Ernie Ball are great too (any weight)

Nihonsei I used to use Ernie Ball, but last night one broke on me after FIVE MINUTES OF PLAYING ON BRAND NEW STRINGS confused , so now I'm going back to the uper bullets that came on my new Strat. I'm guessing you where useing the 9 guages. Those are the only gauge that does that to me. the 10s and 11s hold up pretty well though. It could have jsut been a bad pack.
