So, I've decided to give a little project to you all for fun, yay! I got a project like this in my drawing in painting class a bit back, so some of you may have seen something like this before, but onward we go!
Basically, you take a strip of a magazine, and create a whole picture around it.

I've got some pre-cut picture for you all the pick from!




Sorry if me putting all the images there bothers you, but it would be just too troublesome to have to click all the seperate links. Anyway, when drawing around these images the point is to NOT just draw the rest of the face or figure. Thats way too plain, you've got to push it, make is crazy, fanatical, unusual, sci-fi if you thats what you want, ect. Be as creative as you can, ya?

Now, you're whole image does not have to be this exact size. Bigger, a bit smaller(but not much smaller) and what not. Just the point that its a landscape shape and relatively big to fit everything you need in there.


AND do not be limited to the position of the picture. You can move it around on the paper, make it diagonal and all that. [x]

USE ANY MEDIUM YOU SO CHOOSE. But we want to see the finished product!! You can print it and use traditional media just try to scan it or take a picture of it when you're done if you can!

Color is great! WE LOVE COLOR. YEAH. Unless you chose a black and white image. Then you can color in black and white. OR... COLOR STILL. Okay : D

Finally, I would like it people didn't really choose the same ones, so lets see if we can avoid it as best we can wink .

That's a pretty cool idea. I might try it... sometime...
One question though: Do we have to keep the original strip exactly the way it is or can we replicate it or edit it a bit?

... but we have to keep the original photo...? surprised

So I've not got this done (or anywhere near done) yet... but I thought I'd show a sneak peek... this is just her face, half of it is the original, and the left half if my painting... just remember, it is a wip still biggrin
