[ ] I forgot to mention that I had submitted an application a while ago to be a mod in one of the biggest guilds on Gaia (And the one currently in the Spotlight), the Band Nerd Guild. Well, I got my wish, along with two other lucky people. The "admin" PM that's sent when your status in a guild changes made me squee. Literally.
So, received any PMs lately that have made you smile/laugh/whatever? []

I recently got a PM from a n00b I didn't know asking for me to donate 1000 Gold or more to her.
and she speld like this and used lots o f !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I told her to GTFO, begging is rude, and try earning the gold herself. I've never asked for donations from people before on Gaia, ever. And I have an impressive collection of stuff now. It's called effort, people.

So it made me laugh afterward when I blocked her.

I am never sent a pm, and when I am, it's usually always an admin message.

Nope, I'm saying that you will only get a pm from Admin if you do certain things. ... like with the days of Christmas thing. If you didn't log on, you wouldn't have gotten an Admin pm. If you are inactive, then you could say that Admin doesn't love you. neutral

I like the PMs that say I sold something or I won an auction.
Seller canceled vend and you were outbid are annoying.
I can't remember the last time I got a PM from a friend. Usually when I'm online, none of my friends are online. sad

They do care, but they get easily distracted by things that aren't of immediate importance. I can't speak for all of the site's mods though, especially the new ones. Promoting some of them was a big mistake because they just aren't doing their job or they're taking advantage of being in a place of power.
