Well, technically speaking we're talking about different worlds entirely here. The moogles are different from world to world, sort of, aside from the trademark pom-poms and the little wings... I think.
I'm rather fond of the Ivalice moogles myself, quite frankly. There's a difference from world to world, though, so the Mogs from Gaia (FFVII world) will be quite different from the moogles in Spira (FFX-2).
I haven't actually seen any moogles/mogs in FFX-2, though. Maybe I haven't gotten far enough in the game.

There's just the mascot in X-2, I think...
I really like both kinds of moogles, but going by looks alone, the Ivalice-moogles are my favorites. It took a little while to get used to in XII (as I've never played Tactics), but now I like them so much better. The bear-type seems a bit plain, now.

heart ohh yeah...i know what you mean. After all, (can't remember his name) the mog in charge of the hunt guild. Can't imagine them being fighters. but that would be interesting!

They're like the mice in Prince Caspian. ^^ Get you at the ankles. They're not that small, though. I could see them being pretty decent fighters, just not with any greatswords or anything.
