So, I'm back xO Yay me x3
I would like to know a few things.
A) What I've missed (any important news, anything random you'd like to share, etc.)
B) Your opinions
What opinions, you ask?
Well, let me explain...

Chibi and I have been talking about this for sometime. We're considering canceling the V-Day Event :/ We don't want to, but we feel that there's far less participation than the first one, and we feel that it's too soon from Christmas. We also feel like people are joining because they feel they -have- to, not because they want to.
Furthermore, people aren't even paying attention to the rules. Honestly it only takes about 2 minutes, and people STILL aren't following it. I even had Chibi revise my first post and people still aren't! ._. We also believe it's because people don't have any money from Christmas...
And for these reasons, we believe that people don't really care about the event. And if that is the case, then we will cancel it and make it for Easter.
I wanted some incredibly honest feedback, so we can figure out what to do from here, because from what I can tell, people just don't care about it, and we're doing this to get more participation in the guild, and to bring a sense of kindness and love to Valentine's Day, for those who may not have a significant other to share it with ._.;
So, please, give us some feedback, because we don't know what else to do.

And in other news...
Went to an anime con... And it was so terrible that it doesn't deserve to be talked about =o= The guy selling Yaoi claimed my boyfriend was a chauvinistic pig and that all he wanted was sex out of me and so THAT was the reason why I should buy his Yaoi mangas! D<
He wasn't there the rest of the con.
Everyone was really rude, too :/ And uptight.
But I still have my twins with me x3 Right now they're on Gaia and playing Halo 3 o.O They're leaving Wednesday crying
Oh, and my dad went to the ER last night ._.; He has something wrong with him, but I forgot what it was called. Basically, it's the sack that is holding your heart, and it's inflamed, causing you to have difficulty breathing Dx So they uber drugged him and gave him stuff to make the inflammation and swelling to go down.. So he should be okay.
And that's what I've been doing ^^;

my honest opinion: i don't think you should cancel it. no. definitely not. there's still time for people to sign up, and most of them probably want to save up enough gold before they decide that they really want to participate.
hmm. about the rules: i really don't know what to do about that. maybe you could include in the title to specifically read the rules and follow them carefully?
i don't think you should switch the event to easter. in my opinion, valentine's day is a much more significant holiday than easter.
i care about the event, and i got really excited when you said that we could make our valentine a craft & get them a present. so, yeah. those were my honest thoughts, but it's your choice whether you want to go with them or not.

My dad doesn't like Gaia @_@; He's like "Oh its that anime forum site you go to that's retarded" XD But he ain't gonna do s**t about it. So I'll tell him a friend from my new college classes says hi and you wish him well XD

My opinion on the Valentine's thing is that it probably is just a little to soon after Christmas.
HOWEVER, I really liked the Valentine craft idea: making avi art/writing a poem/whatever for you're Valentine. That was a good idea, and I was looking forward to it, but I don't think it would exactly fit with Easter, you know?
The problem with doing it for Easter is that Easter is not exactly a gift-giving occasion, know what I mean? It's more of a just-be-happy-with-what-you-have holiday. And not everyone celebrates it.
If we did it for Easter we would basically just be giving each other gifts which is - and I don't mean to sound rude - a little pointless. I mean, we'd just be spending 5k on gifts for someone and they'd be doing it for you so pretty much it's just like... Well, it wouldn't just be easier to take that 5k and buy what you wanted yourself?
At least with the Valentine's thing we have something else we're doing, someting we're actually making.
So I guess what I'm saying is I think you should either do the event for Valentine's Day or not at all.
And that was my very long, ridiculous opinion on the thing. redface
Also, whatever happened to the Winter WonderBash competitions?

Actually, what we were going to do for Easter wasn't an exact copy of what we were going to do for Valentine's Day. It was a little different. Besides, not everyone celebates Christmas, either, right? But anyway, as Asa-chan said, thanks for the opinion. smile
