Thank you for the invite, but you do realize unless, through some fluke Rudy or Romney (R^2), you don't have my vote yet. I am a McCain supporter, and until he loses, he's got my vote.

Hi, I'm Talon-chan. A number of you probably already know me. For those who do not I am a very opinionated woman who leans very left. To take a quote out of my profile:
I am liberal because I believe all people, not just the christian white majority, deserve equal rights and that corporations, left to their own doings, will not prevent ecological, economical, or personal damages.
I am about as socially liberal as they come, and while I support the government wasting less money I'm not exactly a libertarian because I see a very strong need for government intervention in big business to protect the environment and local communities.

You don't have to be right wing to support government efficiency. wink

Technically, I'm a Mike Gravel supporter. >_>
But with Gravel's chance being next to zero, Obama seems like the next best choice.
I live just north of the bible belt (Central/Northern Indiana) and come from über-conservative parents. I would not label myself a democrat but liberal seems to work okay. I'm somewhat of a socialist as well. I haven't been keeping up with my politics too well this past year (despite the fact I've just started towards a political science major) but generally I try and have at least a vague idea of what's going on in the world.

Oh. I'm a Canadian by the way. I support Obama because its sad to see my neighbours down south under the rule of a semi-tyrant. I think its time for the USA to become the western world's hero again if I do say so myself.
Plus, I'm doing a business major, so New York or California are the places to be for that. And Obama is the man to bring America out of its crapper before I can get a job thar.
And I'd say that Edwards would look like nice VP material.

hello, I'm Kisa, I'm a moderate democrat, meaning I like some republican viewpoints, but the overall system of standing still doesn't suit the needs of my family and friends. I'm a college bound female, bent on becoming very active in politics and stem cell research (I'm going to be working with them) and I would prefer a president who had thought in the best interest of the average working class family that can't buy it's way into tax deductions. I have gone to living off the welfare system to barely being able to be supported by the government to better my situation, and my education. Okay, I'm done ranting.

I'm YIN, or Nerdling, either's fine. And I can't vote yet. :c I barely missed this year's elections. But I still think it's important for everyone to be involved; I've been politically involved since eleven. Yeah, my parents always told me to form a political opinion.
Like Kisa, I'm a bit of a centrist too, since I agree with a few republican standpoints. However I believe in the greater good of the people, not just a select few who beat people with Bibles and think that a woman's place is in the kitchen.
And I'm from northern Florida, just south of the oh-so-lovely Bible Belt. Dx
So haaay everybody~

Okay, for an actual "introduction"; I'm Dis Domnu, and as far as anyone on Gaia knows, that's my real name. wink I live in the American North East, going between Vermont and New York for the most part. Politically Independent, I lean very far left on social issues and economics, which leads me to side with the Democrats to the exclusion of any Republican support. Unless Stitch joins up, I'm likely the only militant-zionist-Jew in this guild. smile
